I used kaspersky on an old PC and it took all my rams but in newer PCs it is powerful and good. On my laptop I use avast and I am satisfied. I like its silent gaming mode, so it doesn't bother me. I used nod for a few years, but it eventually failed me. I also want to mention that every antivirus program had failed me at least once. But now i just don't download any suspicious content and use avast with gamin mode allways on and I am satisfied. I recommend you do the same :)

I've tried them all and ESET is my all time favorite. It doesn't use much resources and provides fast updates. It also detects more viruses than any other software.

ESET is the best. Owner of Eset is friend of mine and truly his the most honest and modest guy I ever met

Great question. I have always had better luck out of Kaspersky, I have never had any luck at all out of Norton. I have always had issues with Norton over the years and I have found out that Kaspersky finds a whole lot more things in my computer than Norton does.

Norton is the best among those in my opinion , it used to be heavy for old system but is no longer for the system with the modern configuration.

The best antivirus is kaspersky. It's proved on many benchmarks.
If you don't want to affect performance, I suggest ESET smart security

Kaspersky internet security is th best tool. I have used many antiviruses over the years, but settled witk KIS as best option. While it was active, my PC had no problems. As with others ... i did

I would say ESET - never had any problem with it and it doesn't "eat" a lot of system resources.

I have no idea why you don't like Avast. It's definitely one of the best antiviruses out there, if not the best one.

Norton detects the highest number of threats and quite expensive software. I am using Comodo free version and will buy Norton if there prices falls.

I hate it -- it often locks the system processor up, it's unhandy to turn off, it requires lots of attention and it considers way to many programs to be malware. Kasper is really powerful, but clamsy tool. I prefer not to install on any PC but have ready at some "reanimator-type flash" just in case...
