am going to make a huge game arcade site ..everyone easy to register play online games .. also other more features ..can i monetise with adsense? or can i make money from that? ..what s your opinions?
If it falls under all the criteria for adsense, then yes — you definitely can. If not, you can always use things other than adsense.
Yes, there are lots of alternative sites like adsense. When your website gets popular with a lot of hits you could try BuySellAds.com
Google "Talk Arcades" - it's a dedicated forum for flash game arcade websites. Packed full of Info and stats that'll help you out!
There is a lot of competition in that niche. But if you succeed you can make good money from Adsense altough each click pay litte it compensates in high number of clicks.
Each click will be around $0.01 to $0.20.But like i said if your website succeeds you will get a lot of traffic wich will convert on a lot of clicks because this cain of website converts well.
You could also monetize by putting CPA game download offers on your site, perhaps an ad(s) in your sidebar, or something like that. Clickbank has a product or two that's game related, as well.
You will have a lot of competition, it's true. Just means you need to offer a good experience for your users and perhaps work a little harder to draw people to your site. Nothing is impossible but it might be a bit of challenge until you build up a following. If this is something you really want to do, go for it.
There is a lot of competition in the niche so you will have to do something unique to get visitors to your site and keep them returning. To monetize your site, I would recommend using either Adsense or Gtburst for banner ads, Epic Game Ads for popunder ads, and CPMStar or Intergi for preroll ads. There are a lot of fellow arcade webmasters at the Talk Arcades forums which I encourage you to check out if you are really interested in the Arcade niche.
I've owned a ran a LOT of arcade sites. They can be very profitable but you do need a TONNE of visitors to make decent money. You are far better off choosing a niche site. If you try and rank for keywords like "free games" "arcade games" "online games" and so on...you will be up against the big boys and let me tell you they have a huge budget and are already established. By all means don't be scared to have a crack but you are better off going for a smaller niche as there are LOADS of untapped niches within the gaming category. I use keyword tools like market samurai or you can use the free keyword planner tool from google to find highly searched for keywords that have little to none competition. Then I create a category within my website or create a new website based around those keywords. Build backlinks using the keywords as anchor text, drive traffic via social networking and bookmarking sites and boom your in the search engines and also getting traffic from social media sites... As for adsense - like I said you need a tonne of visitors to make good money. Clicks will be anywhere from 1c to $1 depending on your niche and many other factors adsense takes in when serving ads on your site. Years ago I could make $100 a day easy from an arcade site with around 10k-20k visitors per day these days it a lot harder but not impossible. ohhh and donsr - never let anyone tell you not to have a go...just do it. You will never know unless you give it a go for yourself. If you fail - you will learn. Never let failure discourage you. Also competition is a good thing - you just need to be smarter and think outside the box. I've out ranked some pretty big sites and still do.... Don't forget you can buy traffic cheap as well. Places like funklicks.com have cheap traffic - set your site up right so it's good for the user - good for sharing and good for ads and you will get return visitors plus referrals from people sharing your site.. my 2 cents anyway...good luck.
I have to second the Market Samurai approach. One of the best keyword research tools. It picks out the gems hidden in the rough which many big websites don't focus on. What game are you focusing on?
am created that site now so many delayed my bad luck so i will be post the review soon in other thread .. google publishers said no niche for adsense make what you have your talent ... may be my game site crowded... am work hard to make that site to popular ...
From my experience Adsense pays very very little for this niche. Even when you'll have tons of traffic you will probably be disappointed with earnings from Adsense. There are a many other CPC alternatives, but I suggest to look into some CPA as well. Nevertheless, good luck with your project!
