    Hi Guys,

I have a blog which is being hosted on Blogger and is currently on a custom .com domain but the domain is expiring soon and I dont want to spend on renewing it.

Can anyone tell me how to move a domain from .com domain to .blogspot.com domain without loosing on its SEO optimization?

    Please do suggest something helpful.

    Thanks in advance.

As far as I know there is no way to move a .com domain to BlogSpot. It $10 for a domain, and if search around you can find the godaddy coupon for $1 domain. Its worth it if you plan on turning your website into a real business. The investment is a necessary.

As convert said you should renew the domain but if you have already decided to give up that domain, then you can go back to .blogspot.com subdomain by deleting your current .com domain from blogger's basic setting i-e setting>basic

    Hi,

SEO is linked to your domain , even if you have the website its content data moved to another .blogspot.com domain , it will be considered as new domain , so all your SEO efforts will go waste.

If you dont want to renew your domain , then you will end up losing SEO rankings for that domain.
If you can afford to renew the domain , then you can find a cheaper hosting & move the domain & content to save the SEO.

But please be aware , if you lose your domain , you are no longer in control of its SEO.

    Hope this helps :)
