Upcoming Major Pagerank Update 2014

Hello Dp Members,

I want to know that whether there will be Major Pagerank Update on 4th March 2014.

According to last 3 PR Updates,the dates have been as follows:

4th December 2013.
4th Febuary 2013.
4th December 2012.

Anyones opinions will be aprreciated.

PR updates are always unpredictable but the truth is that Google update on a daily basis.

 

It's shocking how often these posts come around, there's very few excuses as to why one should be concerned with a PR update.
Unless you are selling links worrying about the next PR update is a waste of your time.

 

Ummm...where exactly did you get those stats from? I don't recall a PR update on 4th Dec 2012, and the one in 2013 was on Dec 5. Anyways, that's beside the point. The important stuff to know is:

-PR updates are not scheduled
-Google often changes their mind on when or if a PR update is expected
-For the love of God, please everyone, stop worrying about PageRank as if its the crucial turning point of ANY website

Everyone can say that they work on Google, which is not true and just want to say something. It is true that Google updates their metrics regularly but when it comes to the major update, it will be announced on their official website and not coming from other places or websites.

Well after last PR update, I would say not to wait for the PR update because PR updates are now unpredictable.. Just build quality back links to achieve some.

 

Exactly, internal PR (the one that actually matters) is updated constantly. The toolbar PR is only a snapshot (export) of that and will be out-of-date very quickly.

 

Its always a suprise, no proof so I can't believe. Its just a thuoght and well lets hope its true. I need an update.

 

I think we'll continue to see PR updates less and less frequently and eventually it will be phased out completely.

It has always been difficult to predict, and I think now it's even more difficult.

 

It will occur on 4th March or 6th March 2014

How you could say it wont occur?

 

The real question here is: "How can you say it WILL?"
Its either a prophecy from the SERP Gods or you are Matt Cutts (who most often doesn't know too)

 

I am predicting the date based on the last 3 updates date.

 

As I told you in the beginning of the thread, your information about the previous updates is slightly wrong.
Even if it wasn't, Google themselves admitted on not having any correlation between the updates.

Anyways, no need to argue about that really, a week from now all will know

 

Got to disagree on last comment PR is really important when your PR is 0 lol

I agree with you though everyone is getting the itch towards the upcoming PR update.
