    Photos/Videos is not anything new on a profile. I must be misunderstanding her there. The one valuable piece of information she included in the article was the dimensions of the new header art. That's good to know so something can be developed in advance and waiting. Overall, I can still do without the update and hope my account is the last one they do, or better yet, make it a voluntary upgrade the way facebook did when they made these changes.

    As for making it more facebook like, that's probably natural since so many teens are moving from facebook to twitter. Making the environment seem more familiar makes this an easier transition, and will lead to even more of them moving over. It's not just facebook they're copying though. Another DPer has a thread here with a shot of one of her internal profile pages (I believe followers list) and it looks a lot like the pinterest layout. The author seems to have missed that one.
