I don't know why Matt cutts is changing an algorithm in every month. Now Google will neglect many back links, like Article submission is dead! Guest blogging is dead! No twitter signals! These are the main field to get quality back links,Matt cutts saying now this method is dead. How can build a quality back links? Only social media submission, bookmarking and directory submission. In this competation world this is very difficult.
I don’t think that article and guest post submission are dead, the only thing is you have to search great opportunity for this. Use only white hat technique to post content. Don’t take links from exact odds. Naked links help you to get more trust as it is the way of natural link building. I don’t think content marketing can be dead. You have to do a little research to do it in the right manner.
"Boohoohoo mummy, Matt Cutts hurt me!! Waaaah won't rank my link spammed crap site, waaaaaaaaaaaah!" What a shame (!). Google relies on over 200 signals [1] and makes about 1-2 changes per day (on average) [2]. [1] http://www.google.com/intl/en_us/insidesearch/howsearchworks/algorithms.html [2] http://searchengineland.com/google-makes-1-2-algorithm-changes-every-day-135204 Article submission and sites - well, it always was (mostly) a cesspit of spam and has been dead for quite a while. Guest blogging is not dead, but using it as a spammy link scheme is (thankfully). "Twitter signals" were never part of the algorithm [3], so no idea what you are complaining about there. [3] http://searchenginewatch.com/articl...-Not-Part-of-Google-Search-Ranking-Algorithms SEO is not link spamming, as you seem to think. You might want to learn about it [4] [5] and also look into content marketing and proper use of social media. Instead, focus on your audience/potential visitors.
They are not dead according to me too... Otherwise you can make such a negative SEO, so your competitors would be banned easily... Also, if you do Affiliate marketing (like Amazon, Clickbank, etc.), those websites that you promote in your blogs will completely disappear from Search Engines!
I agree with the guest blogging, however article submission and social media is still good. The problem is so many people abuse article submission and guest posting so it isn't as effective any more.
Guest blogging is not dead. I am still ranking hard. As long as your network is secret. You will never get caught.
In first place Guest Posting is never going to rank high and google penalizes the moment it discovers as other competitors starts making backlinks from same websites and if they have penalized websites.
guest blogging is not dead. Matt Cutts said guest blogging for links is dead. If you do it properly, writing a good article that people will want to read, then there is no problem. Google is not there to keep spammy affiliate sites making money.
Google wants you to think guest blogging is dead. It's just to put fear out there. It's the same reason they publicly announce when a site or network has been deindexed and penalized. They want people to think that Google's the all seeing eye. The warnings are legitimate though, if you do get caught you will be penalized. However guest blogging, paid links and so forth work and will work for quite a long time. Simple link building techniques like article marketing are dead. They have tracked down all of the major URL strings of article directories and penalize sites if a large majority of links come from these automated link sources.
Ya... guest blogging and article submission is still alive... I do that technique and still working... With unique content and high pr commeng page
No Technologies are dead. Everyday Google refine itself to provide the best and accurate result for the user who comes with an query. So use all the old and new techniques of White-hat, you will not get penalized. Promote your products and services through Google in best way.
Perhaps it's dead today. Perhaps not. But that doesn't guarantee that the game of SEO will be the same tomorrow.
plenty of seo service company around the world with their guaranty to a hundred costumers...and google can't play with all of this
If you look at Googles webmaster guidelines pretty much all SEO techniques are black hat. If you are an expert in a subject then you should be free to share your knowledge with as wide an audience as possible. There are lots of very big sites who publish guest articles including newspapers, magazines and journals. Like all other link building techniques there are good and bad ways of doing it. Google will always try to stop people influencing their results, and SEO "professional" will always try to find the quickest and easiest way to get on to page 1.
