Contest Enlarge Logo $35

I have this logo. I've had it for a long time. But the original designer is MIA. And I need a large version of it. Like, wallpaper size.

It needs to be top quality work, true as possible to the original.

I also want a version with a transparent layer over it, like this.

Is this difficult? I'm thinking I can close out this contest in 24 hours. Maybe it's more difficult than I expect...

I don't even know what additional effects are. Never done graphic design in my life.

This is a vector image which means it can be resized to any size without losing resolution or clarity. Larger sizes are available for preview. Anything larger than 1000x1000 is not available until transaction. Feedback is welcome.

I think this looks very true to the original, but let me comment on that. As a small image, it looks awesome. But at this size, well, not so much. I really like that the background texture is there. But the red shadow seems weird. And the text at the bottom (the url) really seems choppy.

 

Very clean, very crisp. A few questions: Why isn't it in color? And if you
webbedninja's design, and a couple others here, you'll see that the letters have a "carved from stone" thing going on, that is in the original. I really like that carved from stone effect...

 

Gotta go - more feedback later.

 

I made some edits. The text should be cleaner and easier to read. The red shadow should be better. I can only do so much I don't think it should be too much cleaner, otherwise it lose the stone carve theme aesthetic. I can still change minor things. If you were to choose my design I can make the transparent overlay quickly.

 

Looking good! Is the reddish shadow difficult to remove? Or, not remove, but make it less red? Hard to express my idea here, but it looks painful. The red does.

The upper part is nice but the url seems to be a different style?

 

do you want the url to be the exact font with the bigger one??
