Generate bitcoins - use your CPU to make money

ah, well I don't have Java installed so I'm not able to test that site ATM.

I'm planning on making this profitable by running a pay to use proxy site that's funded by your processor, every minute of work will translate to a minute of surfing. Should be an interesting experiment.

I used Bitcoin Plus' website miner on a site that gets 550 uniques a day with average time at site of 2 minutes.

This is what I got in last 4-5 days.

0.00074613 BTC.

I really don't think it is worth wasting time for. No more bitcoins for me.

 

You really don't want to mine with your CPU, the ROI (paying for wattage) isn't worth it, unless your computer is on all day anyways, then it's just chump change. If you have an ATI Radeon video card, the GPUs inside them are PERFECT for mining Bitcoins. Edit: Same thing for JS Bitcoin mining, it really isn't worth it, as you can see by sachin410's screenshot.

Can anyone please tell me how long it "normally" takes to see at least a
tid-bit of progress ???

i know it says its "random", but i've left it running for 4-5 hours
and my account is still 0 ( zero ).

Exactly. In my opinion, Bitcoin is a saturated market and it is not worth getting into now.
