Yes, they just passed Exxon and I believe the second largest USA company now.

They are massive.

 

They are MASSIVE!

They also buy 1 company a week... WOW!

 

Thats because all these being called HUMAN BEINGS are making them big.

 

That does sound a bit unlikely...when buying a company that you want to be profitable, then
you have to put your nose deep-in that companies butt, and it could take a while to do that,
then you got buy out protocols, and such, and if some chance they are buying 1 company
per week, then they have probably already been into buying that company for some while. Rome was
though to be the biggest empire of all time, and it was for a long time, until it fell because of greed/power...

 

Google really has a perfect eco-system: Android, Youtube, Adwork, Phone, Gmail, blogspot, etc.. that connect well with each other and cover almost everything in life. Really adore Larry and Sergey to build a such powerful empire from scratch. Not simply about technical stuffs, but their business mind and broad visibility.

Welll, I did say unlikely, if i thought i knew the facts for sure then I would have said yes or no.
even so, even I wouldnt buy last min decision, so I take it that google has a buy team dedicated
in buy other companies, and that means they are constantly researching, and doing proper
research, and making offers can take time, but if they offered me a billion dollars, it wouldnt take me a lot time to sell

All their latest acquisitions point exactly to their future expansion in the Robotics business. I would personally wait for them to release
a little robot who can perform my web searches with a voice command, WHILE making me pancakes...then I can start to be impressed

I think google is gearing up for large government contracts.

Much of the projected research for future war machines is robotics in the future robots will probably control tanks, aircraft, drones and other war devices.
Communications is huge for governments if you control the media you control the population, through propaganda and these days through surveillance. Most people don't realize that they are probably being gps recorded everywhere they carry their smart phone, all phone calls all text messages, all internet activity is tracked as long as you have gmail open in a browser. This kind of info is huge to law enforcement and other government goons.

Just between war machines and communications that could equal billions and billions in government contracts.
