It maybe free but not good for link building anymore... Google penalize sites which use such tool. We can share stuffs which can be handy for others... These tools have lost their worth n its better to avoid them.
I'm leery of any backlinking services, and I never used them yet. Of course, I just do whatever the company I promote wants.
social monkee is not free, you have to pay 7 dollars to star, testing the other tools, thanks for the info
The Monkey can be useful, even at 25 links per day.... however, you have to use it wisely, it is still an automated tool, and I would never use social monkee to point to my golden sites.... If you are going to direct Monkee, then tier 1 web 2.0 site would be it.... If you know you got a decent DA, then I suppose it would do little to no harm, and if that was the case, i would point it to some content pages in order to get them to boost up through the serps.... And I really do not blame them for charging, as I would highly bet their system was under heavy use by the abusers. In fact, I would gladly trade $7 for a better quality submit rather then having to put up with the low quality abusers/spammers.
So can someone sum up this thread's finding. Getting more and more confused as the thread progresses.
Free Tools or Paid tools are just tools. Does't make any different if they are paid or not. It is how the user use it. Basically people don't use free tools directly to your site now as Google might penalize your site.. I think that is mostly what I got after reading..
http://www.squidoo.com/makeup-brush-set got unpublished I do wanna point out though.. a) Google does not have infinite compute cycles! They certainly have more compute power than everyone here. But they have to distribute their cpu cycles to analyzing the whole web. So their CPU cycles per website is much lower than anyone's PC could devote to SEO. Point being it is (and always will be) at least theoretically possible to out-compute Google on SEO for your website. b) crappy links Google-wise are good. Remember a good link profile would look like 10 times as many PR 9 links as PR 10. 10 times as many PR 7 links as PR 8....10 times as many crappy PR 0 links as PR 1. Also, high traffic, crappy Google links bring you traffic. This is especially important for long-tail keywords which have relatively low monthly searches anywayz. c) I would worry too much about Google penaties for so called crappy links. If that were true you could easily spam your competitor's websites into into oblivion. That would run counter to Google's interest. You wanna have a look at "trust flow."
I can't understand that two tools as a new seo worker. maybe you should help me about two tools . Thank you
Google does not care about your crappy backlinks; google does care at the rate you are racking up your crappy backlinks which is obviously un-natrual in the eyes of google....the problem is, people are greedy, and they just cant wait so they try to speed up the backlinking process as fast as possible.... and why would google even care? all they see is your site getting massive amounts of un-natrual links; regardless who done it, why would they not take action and give that site a penalty? If not, then they are just saying it is ok for competitors to spam your site; we will still give the site credit..... I dunno, still stuck with more questions, then answers
