Hi DP friends, I am trying to build some action at my online forum for a while and it seems that I am failing. The forum is part of social network, there are good number of active members, though activity is very low. The other components of my social network seems to perform quite well, for example blogging platform. Any idea, how to boost activity of my forum? Cheers Kal
One of the reasons many people are not active is that: A. Your site is a better blogging platform... You can not be everything to everyone B. They don't see other people being active on the site... People don't want to be the first, they follow the crowd hence why facebook and other social networks are successful. If I were you I would probably drop the forums and enhance what they are actually using.. Hope this helps
There's a site called PostLoop that lets you get active forum users. You can also try reaching out to people in your niche and offering them something like a signature link in exchange for posts. Good luck.
PostLoop is a good website, though it wont work in this case as nor blog or forum scripts are supported.
