Can i login without Facebook details?

Hello

I have registered with my facebook profile and now i log in with my facebook profile. but nobody in my house does not use digital points forum. That's why i never logged out my digital points. but when someone sit to use facebook they found my facebook is open. So my privacy is at a stake , so can i log in without facebook in digital points as i registered with my facebook profile.

Yes You can use it without your facebook profile ...

 

I tried with "amarkolom" and "amarkolom.793005" but these user id's not working , how can i find my username or can i change my user name? I joined with my facebook account. so what will my user id , please help me digitalpoint

i too had the same problem, i also found the solution.

step 1: login with your facebook account like you usually do, then go to your profile page. the highlighted part will be your username, as i have shown in image of my profile page


step 2: then on the left hand side of the profile page you'll find different options, at the bottom of the page you'll find 'setting' option, in that you click on the "password" tab which i have highlighted in the image below

you will be taken to a new page where it'll ask if you want a password reset mail to be sent your e-mail address, click on that link and you'll receive a mail with a password for your account within a few minutes(usually a few minutes i think). below the password will be a login link, log out of dp and click on the login option below the password in your mail. you'll be automatically logged into dp.

after you do this follow the same steps as above(do not login with your facebook account again ), when you Click on the "password" you will taken to password reset page like in the image where you


enter the password you got in the mail in the red highlighted part.

enter the password you want/like/you can remember, in the green highlighted part.

then click on "save changes", next time you want to login to dp without facebook you have to use the password you entered in green highlighted part.

I had the same problem, however, when I clicked on "password" it said..."request password" to be sent to the email on file. I am guessing it will be sent to my email and I can change it out later...we shall see.
