I am currently looking for a new logo for an establish website that I've had for about 6 years. I've used this forum in the past for logo contests but have gotten burnt in the past by people who use stock logos or copyrighted images/characters from large companies such as Disney/Pixar and try to pass them off as their own. I've heard decent things about 99designs, but their starting contest is $299 and that's a lot of money. So I was just curious as to who you have used and if you have any success or horror stories.
I've used 99designs for designing my site's logo! you should check it out too. They have many creative designs, i hope you would like it. Thanks
Thanks for the interest netsoul, but I'm going to wait until I can post in the contest section of this forum and/or post it on a logo design contest site. Thanks
I haven't used 99design, but I have had my 3 logos for 3 different website from gig services website, you can get a decent logo design for much than 50$. I suggest you try it out and micro job and gigs sites.
Yes, there is plenty of them including gigbucks.com and fiverup.com. Just search for logo design and you will find many of them. Make sure to select a seller that have a high rating and having high sales as this means he is a professional one.
I've used hatchwise for an important design.. It's similar to 99 designs but cheaper. I think it ended up costing me about $120 when all was said and done. I've also used a few fiverr designers for things like badges.. I've had mixed results. But yes, some of them are very good.
I've outsourced many projects in the past and the one thing I've found is that "you get what you pay for"...well, in most cases anyway! Most people get caught trap of expecting million quality with a 5 cent price tag! haha There is one guy that I've used more than once. His name is Hassan and he is active on the Warrior Forum. I have no affiliation to him whatsoever, but I can definitely highly recommend his work. Don't think I can post a link here so you can PM me for more info if you'd like - I'll send you to his portfolio. $57 for a killer logo. Hopefully this helps.
Don't have time to read all the posts, but you don't need anyone to design your logo. You can do it paid or free here: http://logotypemaker.com/logo-design PS It does take a bit of practicing, but once you get the idea, you can create a professional looking logo just like that.
We have worked with 99 Designs in the past and they are great but can be pricey. We recently just launched Logo Packet 1.0, a bundle of 17+ original logo templates for all kinds of different looks and taste. Great for web designers, graphic designers and even small business owners, especially those with budget constraints. Logo Packet all comes in EPS and Ai. format. We also offer PLR license - Check us out at Logopacket. com Feel free to catch a glimpse of our product with the following preview: https://www.dropbox.com/s/d1nxzbuwsl06yan/3 Logo Designs - Freebie.zip (3 Logo Packet designs) Cheers, Rene
Please do not try fiverr. You just don't know what you get. Some of them will do it again if you don't like the first one though. At your own risk.
I would say photoshop, but thats not really for beginners or novice users.. Still with a bit of knowledge in using photoshops tools one can create decent logos for free
I used this guy and he did a few friend's logos too. I will be using him again for my next project: https://forums.digitalpoint.com/threads/logo-designs-15-website-designs-business-cards-designs-flyers-posters-covers.2671133/#post-18673311
There are lots of places to go for logo design. Sometimes I'll use Fiverr, other times oDesk and other times 99Designs. I like to change the source for each business to get some fresh ideas and style of designs. My best one yet has came from 99Designs.
Logo is very important. It's your brand and it represents you. If you want a quality logo then you better be ready to pay for it. Browse through the design section and read reviews from past customers of designers there.
Hi Bigmike, Some investments are necessary especially when it comes to Brand Establishment. Let's see, there are certain design software out there in the market offering Trials before Payment without inputting confidential information - Credit Cards, E-mail etc. 1 Recommendation: Designmantic This may not be the best but definitely one to start with the Trial being offered. Note: I am not an advocate nor highly recommend this software. Work Hard, Commoner
