Hi and thank you for your help. I have a site, and I have no manual penalty But I have disappeared on google, where I did once hold top 3 I do have 200 bad backlinks, I am trying to remove them. So my question is if I change my algorithm penalized site to be a pointed domain instead of the main url, would the new main domain still be penalized because of the pointed domain? Thank you so much Any tips are appreciated
Yes, it will carry the penalty. Even if you change domain and do a 301 redirect it will bring the penalty. The reason is simple, you have to let Google know about this domain change from Google Webmasters Tool. Now when you change the domain in a while you will see all your current backlinks listed under the new domain name but all exiting links will be showing you old domain as intermediate link. But it's the safest procedure to follow while changing domain name.
You are most welcome. Unless it's banned and you got a notification in GWT don't do anything. A refresh in the update can get things back. Carry on your current work. I hope it will be reinstated.
You have more than that. More than 400 (maybe almost 500) and one anchor text has about 427 links. Your idea to ditch the domain is a bad one. Instead, fix the problem (remove/disavow - don't pay to remove!) and treat your website as a serious part of your business. You were doing fine until you tried to cheat, but hopefully it gave you the wake up call. You just needed to know as a small business person how to move forwards. Quit believing the snakeoil BS these so-called "SEO experts" try to shove down your throat and rip you off with "sell you". They will tell you anything to get your money.
Fix your links and then take care of the problem the right way. You can do a 302 redirect which should theoretically not pass the penalty, but I'm not sure on that. Start to remove those backlinks and deal with it the right way.
Yes, penalty will still stands ..... I will suggest you to try removing the bad back links first by contacting the Webmaster of the bad back link and if you're still unsuccessful in removing the bad back links then from the Google Webmaster Tool use the Disavow tool to disavow those Bad links.
