    What i think for every types of keyword seo will same and you just need to understand the process properly. If you know the ranking factors properly , then you can rank any types of keyword.

    well, look if you select a keyword ADULT then it has a very high competition you need some serious SEO in order to rank your website.

    Well, You have chosen a very hard niche ;)

    FIrst you must pick good keywords for your niche BUT, not high competition... Medium it's good!
    Now, what niche do you have in the adults, Hard Porn, Images, Tubes Etc... and you need to write good articles for it and use your keywords in it, BUT you will need good sites to post them into it - and that cost!

    This is not Cheap niche, because the competition is high!

    We, as a company, do ofer SEO Services for Adults and that's why i know it is not cheap!

    So my advise is to seek for a good SEO Company that will run this for you, If your site and content are good, it will be worth it ;)
    DO NOT BUT ANY FIVERR SEO SERVICES! They are Bad! and will get your site penalty!

    But, You can start with my recomendation as for a start and see if it works for you... ;)

    Well, It's a very hard keyword. Just choose a best keyword with medium traffic so that you will get rank in short time.

    Just focus on content on your site and regular post content on any high PR blog and article submission site.
    Don't stuffing more keyword and just DO white hat SEO for your website.
