When you need money desperately and urgently, how to make it using the internet?

Its difficult to earn quick money online at least
at the beginning. I would suggest you to find
offline job, work there, go home and work like
hell on web. Probably you don't have iron discipline
to work 16h/day on web. Go find a job and fill all the
extra time working online. At the end of month
you will have at least some cash flow...

Getting a job would definitely help, but the downside is that you have to wait for your paycheck to get issued. That takes a month in most cases. (It needs great patience!) And after doing an 8-hour job, there are a few chances that one would work for 8 hours more on the web. YES, in exceptional cases or when the situation is very pressing, there is no alternative if you go by this way.
I might sound a bit harsh here, but I would spend more time searching online for something that would give me quick bucks, though very few. Because in a situation when you need money desperately and urgently and have no sources to draw it from, being patient is very hard and even a few bucks in hand soothe you greatly.

 

As others have suggested, freelancing/gigs is the simplest and most direct way of making money fast online. Even selling on eBay takes time these days, especially if you have a new or little used account (as eBay will place a three week hold on earnings). But a deal you strike with somebody when responding to a freelancing post can put money in your Paypal today. One easy way to expedite this is to offer to do something that's worth X to the buyer at half price, which means you'll be working twice as hard for the money, but you'll get the job.

The fastest way to learn how to do tasks that are in demand in IM, aside from ebooks and courses, is to go to youtube and study all the tutorial videos posted there. Combined with the ebooks watching the demonstrations will give you immediate understanding and confidence as to how to proceed. You could then do a few tasks, post your 'portfolio of work' in a blogger blog, then immediately put up a shingle and advertise for gigs on IM forums.

 

Thats really a great idea! Agreed that you'll be working twice as hard for the money or get paid half the actual worth, but in a situation where you need money desperately and urgently and have no sources to draw it from, this will work really fast.

That's the big myth all the sales pages tell you... that it's easy and quick to get rich on the internet.
It's not. It takes work. It's something that is built up over time by building small successes into
a bigger success.
Sure there are people that make big money online but it didn't happen overnight.
If you are looking for a quick fix to make some extra money to get by on while you are building
your business, there's always the tried and true Ebay. You can also post your gig on Fiverr or
other freelance sites.

 

Thanks for your input, Gary Chesnut. Its true that you cannot get rich on the internet overnight by following some quick-fix techniques. It is a long process and requires persistence. Also, a lot of pages that claim to have made big money in a short time are nothing but fake stories. I doubt if most of them are genuine - or just scams!
Can you tell how to sell articles/content on Ebay? Since I am good at content writing, this is something I will be able to do without spending a lot of time. And apart from Fiverr, which other freelance sites let you post gigs for quick-money? This can be really helpful to make some cash fast, though its less.

There are a number of sites that you can freelance your work on besides Fiverr....Freelancer, Elance, oDesk and iWriter is also a popular site.
There are many more.

You also mentioned persistence. That's a very important point! It takes a persistent and determined effort to be successful.

Freelance websites are hard for beginners, and although they can provide quick money, that is often very small amount of money for a lot of work. When you are beginner without rating, you can't bid high on projects. Only chance to win a project is to bid low on first few projects, just to get good rating. After several projects (and weeks or months), when user's profile page looks good with successful work history, you can demand higher payments.

Those wages on freelance sites are very low, especially for content writing and for beginners. The competition is strong and beginner in most cases give up without placing a single bid. I think at least 80% accounts on freelance websites are from people who didn't do a single job . People just register, browse projects for a few days and give up.

Indeed, selected few % of workers endure and establish relationships with buyers, and then get high payments based on high quality work. These are stars on each freelance websites and everyone wants to be like them But, their success also took time, over a year of dedicated work before you can say you have a career on freelance website.

Not true. That's what portfolios are for. It's definitely harder to get jobs when you're starting out, but there's no reason you should undervalue your services if they're good. There are plenty of people willing to take a risk on a new joiner, especially with escrow.

Not true. Ignore the slave-wage jobs and look for higher pay. They're out there, though there aren't as many. Both of my main regular clients came from bidding sites and they pay $20-$30 an hour for content creation.

Totally agree. But that's because (again) people have spread the myth that it's easy and everyone wants to be spoon-fed. A bit of research, a bit of understanding and they'd be able to make plenty of money.

Not always true. I know several people who have landed ridiculously good jobs within the first couple of weeks, in the same way I know people who are still struggling after years. It's not the medium that's the problem: it's the approach.

 

actually it is hard to make quick money online if luck does not favor , but you can try hard and soul to earn quickly then you can earn easily. what i think if you have just writing skill or good typing skill make an account on freeelance market place and bid as much you can i hope you will be notified shortly. Its quickest possible way to earn.

I actually agree with you, I was just generalizing things.

Of course it is mostly about approach. It is pretty simple to be successful, no big secret. But, in reality most of the people just give up and that is sad. Obviously, there are some problems between idea and realization.

As people, when we need quick cash, I think we have only 2 options;
1- borrow
2- sell

So, making/earning money is not an option for any urgent situation like yours.. If I were in your situation, I wouldn't waste my so valuable time (due to the urgency) by searching for how to earn money (online/offline) so fast.

Some people may think that internet is somewhere out of the real world where you will be able and capable to achieve any impossible-looking success. It's just a dream. Internet is not a magic.

I would go to my friends to ask for some money and/or sell my something (pc, tv, car, anything) to be able to wait for my paycheck. So, I would start from looking for a job. You can think about the paycheck later. Step by step. Follow this method.

So true. Unfortunately, eBay's fees are horrific these days - every time I sell something on there, I feel like I should have just given it to charity, it makes so little for so much effort.

 

write eBooks and sell it online would be a good way to get instant profit from the internet. you don't really need a publisher for this kind of online business. you just need a good book in PDF or ePub format, a website to sell your eBooks from, some website traffic and a reasonably priced DRM solution to make sure that your eBooks are not copied and distributed without your permission. I would suggest looking up EditionGuard for a good DRM Solution I think they also have a free 30 day free trial with no obligations.

 

When you need money desperately online, the quickest methods to earn are illegal ones which the average person probably wouldn't think of.

But when doing illegal things online, there's always the risk of being caught/banned/screwed so be careful!

And I'm not saying to participate in illegal activities, just saying that if you're desperate it's the quickest way. But there are also legitimate ways to earn online such as Fiverr, eBay, Craigslist, etc.

No offense, but that's awful advice. It's incredibly hard to sell ebooks unless you have (a) fame, (b) tons of luck and (c) the entire marketing and sales structure already in place, with traffic already hitting it and desperate to buy.

eBooks are NOT a money-maker, except if you put in a ton of time and effort. They will not make money quickly unless you have (a) or (b) above.

 

I am sure there are ways to make money. When I started off my IM career, I was reviewing songs and I got paid $0.25 for a constructive comment. It was not a life changing thing but I could manage to make around $5 - $10 (using different accounts).
