Need Tips In Finding Blogs to Comment?

    Hello Folks,

Here goes another question or issue.

I am struggling a lot to find links with good PR or authority pages to post a comment. I heard some saying scrapebook is best, but I think buying one is a waste of time as I don't want to perform any type of artificial linking.

I want to do it manually, but can any one guide me the best way or are there any tools which helps me to find good links to the niche with page rank or authority pages on which I can drop a comment.

I would suggest buying scrapebox for this. You can scrape millions of results from Google based on your keywords. From there you can then do a lot of different checks like PR, mozrank, dofollow or nofollow and much more to refine your lists. This helps save you a lot of time and gets you a good list to work through for manual commenting.

Scrapebox can be used for much more than posting comments. It's a great research tool.

If you're looking to pull together a list of pages for manual commenting, I can't think of a better tool than SB.

If your aim is to get traffic from the comments i would suggest you to comment on mashable. I know most of you will say that they use 3d party comment system livefyre and that's true. But from my experience it brings a lot of traffic and on google analytics or webmaster reports it shows mashable as referral source. Most of good quality sites in these days are using comment systems such as disqus, therefore you will get backlink only from disqus site. High authority sites, which are using their own comment system, usually are very carefully moderating and approving comments. So chances are quite low that your comment will be approved if it contains a link. You can increase your chances to get your comment approved by writing long (200 words or so) comment. My personal opinion is that to waste your time and energy for a long comments is simply not worth it. It's better to save those good ideas that you have and post it on your own blog. That will count as unique content and search engines will love your site for this.

Technoraite is a blog aggregator so search on there.

Or simply use Google search for "niche + blog"

Or take it one step further and use the blog search feature. You enter your keyword and press "search" then at the top of the page click 'more' and then choose 'blogs' it will only display blogs.

Go to authority blogs in your niche and see who they are linking to.

I found this new thing called BuzzSumo that allows you to search related content or people who write stuff on a certain topic. And then you can sample some of the websites that are listed since most of the articles are written by guest bloggers.

You should search blogs with CommentLuv and other plugins that allow you to get dofollow links... some of them will let you choose your anchor text. I usually go to wordpress.org and search "dofollow" or "follow links" to know the names of the plugins. Then I Google for "inurl:wp-content/plugins/sem-dofollow" or other names and I create a list of blogs that I'm interested in. You can also add "site:.com" or "SEO" (as the topic of websites) if you want to get more specific results. Additionally, if you use SEOquake, you can sort the results beginning from the one with the highest PR or the most backlinks.

So, at first create a list of blogs, then try to visit them regularly and comment on, if you have something interesting to write.

While it doesn't exactly show the PR of all the sites, a good place to drop your links is a website called http://dropmylink.com

Pretty simple to use and totally free.

Here's a pretty cool free tool. It doesn't really do anything you can't do yourself. But it automates searches for different blogs using different blog comment systems, so it saves you a bit of time. I would guess that it's main goal is to build backlinks rather than drive traffic through quality commenting, but a tool is only as good as its user. Plus you can always kill two birds with one stone.

    Anyway, here it is: http://dropmylink.com/

While I don't necessarily think it's a great idea, if you're solely looking for blogs that have good PR and accept comments you simply need to reverse engineer "spammy" types of sites.

Go and look at the backlink profiles of any of the high rankings sites for viagra/pharma related keywords and you will find plenty of blogs you can comment on.

Like I said, though, I don't think spamming your link on random high PR pages is the way forward for SEO. Things have changed a lot in the last couple of years.

Do NOT use ScrapeBox... Or at least use it ONLY to find such blogs and then do everything manually (search for good blogs posts in this blog, post an UNIQUE and manually-written comment!) ;)

I just visit Mashable, recently. Quite different lay-out than seveal years ago when I'd visit it. More social media friendly with social networking buttons, chicklets and toolbar.

I have seen also their third party comment system: Livefyre... this is the first time I heard about Livefyre. LOL :D

As I remember, several years ago, it was difficult to post a comment at Mashable. But now, with this Livefyre, similar with DISQUS, I can easily post a comment there via Facebook Login or Twitter.... as same as post a comment here at digitalpoint ;)

    And about Backlink....

Does anyone has ever using SocialMonkee??

Many people said this plugin is the best tool for Link Building solution, or create Backlinks.

Recently, I got this information from this page at facebook.com/photo.php?v=668054906585215&stream_ref=10

Coz I'm thinking to use this plugin, any sugestion or review?

    Thanks in advance,
    Chika Nadya

You said yourself that you don't want any kind of artificial linking, so any automated tool is out of the question :) What`s left is the old manual google search for keywords related to your niche.
