Hi All, I wonder if anyone can help me please. Do you know if you can see your login data for twitter? People have been mysteriously vanishing from my 'follow' list and I'm not sure why. I only use my phone and a lap top so could check the ip addresses from them to match against ip addresses on any log data but I don't know if or where that would be stored. I have changed my password subsequently but would like to find out the culprit. Thank you, Leanne
The followers are one who follows you are you asking about them? If yes then I belive it would not be possible for you to stop the count to go down as it depend on them whether they want to continue following you or not! If the count of the one to whom you are following are decreasing then there is problem for sure. Do deauthorize all the applications first (as you already changes the password) and then check out if it works.
If those followers are random then those followers might have noticed that they are following someone random, so they might be un-following you!! Look into your account and see how many random followers are there!
Or to keep them on your account, post interesting things that would attract them and convince them to not un-follow you
Hey Henrey Yeah content is the king and thus interesting topic will ranges from people to people so we need to keep foucs on the things we have to and only want them to follow us those who are in our interest. While i must says we are not celebraty or smoe high professional whom everyone can follow
If you suspect your Twitter account has been compromised (or if you just want a higher level of security), turn on two-factor authentication. Log into Twitter, hit the 'gear' icon on top right, select 'Settings' from the drop-down, and then look at the left side panel that appears and select 'security and privacy'. You will have the option to add a cellphone number and 'send login verification requests to xxx-xxx-xxxx'. This should prevent the problem of unauthorized logins. 'Mysteriously disappearing followers' might be fake followers however whose accounts have been disabled / deleted by Twitter, so that's a possibility as well.
