I'm continuing Adversal since November 2012, I never faces any issue with them, like payments on time and fast tech helps etc. Though the rates are not the best one.

Just a note for anyone looking for reviews, they did indeed follow up and everything was sorted out. I have to say, that was pretty good support on their end.

There are some revenue optimization tips on the FAQ in your account. You might try experimenting with this a bit to see if you can find any benefit. If not, email me with your username and I'd be happy to take a look at this with you.

Only if your site meets the criteria.

Out-of-date mobile browser or unsupported technology, such as flash. Regardless, all relevant data is still logged.

50% of my visitors are from the US, 30% from Canada, Australia and the UK. Is this seriously possible? It's a leaderboard ad, placed above the fold. Right at the top when the page loads....
    16.jpg

I'm also using Lijit ad networks and they give me an eCPM of $0.4+ for the same spot. Is that a realistic CPM expectation from Adversal? Or is this the sort of performance I can expect?

    @rajin, @Bibibo, and others -

As the New Year starts, advertisers will be pulling campaigns and starting to plan anew for 2014. This can certainly have an effect on eCPM in the interim, but this is also a perfect time to review the ad placements within your site. If you needs assistance, please email me and I'd be happy to take a look with you.

    Publishers -

Extreme weather conditions in the state of Indiana have forced the closure of our office today, January 6th. Payments were scheduled to go out today, but will now be issued tomorrow (Tuesday, Jan. 7th) once our office re-opens and all employees can return to work, specifically accounting :)

As have many of you, I have worked with a number of ad networks over the years, and to be frank, I am not sure why anyone would use Adversal. As of today I have 225k+ impressions, with an average of around 10k a day. Adversal seems this traffic is only worth $7-$8 (total). That's the equivalent of .03 to .04 eCPM! This is literally the lowest payout of any network I have ever tested. In light of this shockingly low payout, I have decided to re-route half of this traffic back through Media.net for now. Maybe I will send them more traffic, maybe I will simply move on...I'll see what Kyle says before making a decision here.

What is going on here? Seriously.

    Dave

P.S. It's 79 degrees here in south Florida at the moment ;) Sorry, just had to say it!

You're comparing apples to oranges. For instance, Media.net is a contextual network. Adversal is not. Your site may simply perform better in a contextual environment. There are tips on the FAQ in your account for optimizing your site for RTB. If you need help, contact us and we'll take a look at your account with you.

P.S. The wind chill here is -40 degrees (F).

    Kyle,

Impressions are impressions. You are paying me .03 per 1000 impressions. I have never been paid such a low amount from any network I have dealt with thus far. Whether or not my site(s) will perform better in a contextual setting does not address the issue of why your payouts are so extremely low. In fact, it seems that your payouts are the lowest across the entire industry, regardless of semantics.

If you think looking at my account could prove useful, then by all means, please look and let me know what you find.

    Thank you,
    Dave

Yeah totally agree with the above. Even when a network runs a performance campaign and the publisher doesn't know, the publisher isn't going to care because at the end of the day the publishers care about $$$ and if it isn't bringing in the money they are going to find someone else who will pay more for the same inventory.

"Impressions are impressions" is the farthest thing from the truth. You cannot simply create an impression and expect an advertiser to pay the highest amount possible for it. In actuality, advertisers need to see sufficient ROI from your inventory in order to justify a higher spend. This is how RTB works. Again, if you'd like us to look at your account, email us.

    Kyle,

I am not really looking for the "highest amount possible," although that would be nice. I am simply looking for something that approaches a reasonable payout. Certainly not the lowest throughout an entire industry.

I was waiting to hear from you before making a decision on how to proceed. Now that I have heard your reasoning, I can say that I will most assuredly be removing your ads.

Yup, another bogus rip-off ad network that apparently only caters to the bottom feeders (while hiding behind semantics). It's unfortunate that there really is a lack of quality ad networks available. Google simply dominates the market so completely that none of these smaller ad networks will last (except as bottom feeders themselves) . Anyone remember Adbrite out of SanFran? They were hundreds times better than Adversal, where are they today?
