I haven't been active on this site in a while, and I came back to find all sorts of limits and crap. What the heck! I used to love this site, but now I can't sell in the marketplace or do anything because of your new stupid point rules... WTF Yo....

Ask for a refund if you are not happy with the service that you are being provided with.

I was thinking as you now in the beginning. But now I can say it's better then before. You need only 3 likes and you can post again.

Yea, it just means I gotta go find pointless posts to make though to get likes, lol.. Just really seems kinda like a oxymoronic spam/user verification technique is all.. post more, get more likes, keep posting to be able to use our site.

The rules never really changed, but the requirements did. Big deal, it's three pathetic likes and helps to reduce spam. If you can't manage that, then there is Premium Membership, but also other marketplaces out there, too (some paid, some free).

I think it sucks that people have this sense of entitlement that they can come to site and expect to start threads to sell things to make money and not contribute anything to the site (either good content or $ for premium membership).

You don't use the site much, so it might be hard for you to tell, but there has been a huge reduction in spam. @digitalpoint has put various systems in place to mitigate spam. Sure, sometimes happens, but a lot less common.

If making worthwhile posts to get three likes is too hard, then the system is working.

@Agent000 Dude, I have been part of this site for years... as far as a premium membership I have more important things to spend that 25$ on.. ie server bills..

@ryan_uk I'm just annoyed by it though, how am I supposed to get likes if my stuff doesn't get likes and I can't ask for them, like what am I supposed to do? I was a member here for years, sure i use the site kinda off and on so I'm not always active but I just think it's BS that I am just now starting to be limited...

Then what use are you to this site if you can't post content that others like!!! You obviously only here for selfish reasons and not to be part of the community. Time for an attitude adjustment if you want to stay.

@Agent000 Hi, welcome to the world of business networking, I do occasionally post opinion pieces, questions and such (https://forums.digitalpoint.com/threads/google-is-becoming-too-powerful.2699795/) but, yes, I do use this site primarily to sell domains and sites... or at least I used to :(.

In the amount of time you have spent crying about it, you could have made some useful posts to get likes. For some people, change sucks, they get too easily unsettled by it, but in business you have to adapt and get on with it or be left behind in irrelevancy. In the business world, there is no room/time for crying about small changes.

So you getting a free place to sell your domains and are now complaining that you have to "pay" (ie get likes for posting good content or $ for premium) ... go figure! .... like I said: Time for an attitude adjustment.

@ryan_uk I have been making more post while "crying about it" replying here :)

@Agent000 not even really, all i'm saying is its a stupid system and I liked it a lot better before because to me getting likes and all that crap is hard, its not like I'm not trying.

For a moment - be objective. How is a reduction in spam stupid?

Help other members by posting solution to their problem. You will get it.
But if your intention is only to get likes for selling, that won't work.
If you can't pay for premium membership, then pay using your time.
I see you have many threads selling. But I see no help to other members.
And you are dreaming to get likes for that?
You have got enough from DP, now it's time for you to return something back.
Else there are other places where you can list your services/anything.

The method is working, therefore it is not stupid. It just prevents you from doing what you could before, so hurts your feelings personally. If you bother to read Support & Feedback you would see people who at first cry and then later backtrack and see the benefits of the system.

@pupul Okay... lol wow.... Did you even read this thread, or my profile.... I was active on this site OFF and ON.. I was not here EVERYDAY. I do occasionally post opinion pieces, questions and such but, yes, I used to use this site primarily to sell domains and sites because it was free and the best... not so much now.

@ryan_uk um... it kinda is, it prevents me from doing business here right now when I need to find a way to make money so I hate it...

I agree with you..DP used to be a lot better with the itrader system. I canĀ“t post threads in the BST section for now, as itraders are not longer considered. Anyway, I hope to get the 3 likes in the future...as the jungle rule say: you have to "adapt or die".
