Freelancer has many people in need of cash but not all developers are equal and good ones are usually on other projects. You may need to repost a few times until you find a good developer/team available.
Theirs http://www.freelancersoutpost.com their quite new. Charges are very low for a freelancer. I won some jobs from their thats how I know. People I dealt with are pretty cool too. No hassle in getting my money.
odesk is better than elance in features th. you dont have to pay anything for bidding in projects but at elance requires premium membership for various features. at elance winning chance on project is higher than odesk
oDesk is bounds better than freelancer. By the way, oDesk is actually merging with Elance so you'll soon get the best of both worlds
There are very few quality programmers here. Everyone seems to be a "I do it. $20. 3 day take me. r u have skype?" kind of programmer if you get what I mean....
I've had several jobs completed by workers found on Vworker. Recently Vworker and Freelancer merged. I think Freelancer is the Craigslist of Freelance sites (A haven for scammers) The quality of the workers or bidders on Freelancer is poor and unprofessional. I recently created a job on both Freelancer and Elance. The Freelance bidders would bid without understanding the requirements or they would PM with portifolios. <<< No way to block The Elance bidders were professional - Several of the bidders restated my requirements as they understood them. This allowed me to clarify and clear up any gaps in communication. The job was completed and I got what I ordered. In-fact I have a new concept for a website and mobile app that I plan on using Elance to complete. Working on requirements now
I was wondering if there was a thread here on FL - and here it is. Freelancer is NOT A SCAM. In fact, it is pretty good. I had been with Rent-a-coder, then VWorker before they were purchased by Freelancer.com.. and i have done 70 projects successfully. The only thing is, Freelancer has recently gone public... so there are suits messing things up. But you can get a lot of action on your projects, and can save roughly 65-75% of what you'd pay locally. So you are paying 25-35 cents on the dollar, or even less. No, it isn't a scam - you just need to think realistically when choosing a programmer.
You'll be able to find experienced programmer on odesk.com. To me odesk is much better than freelancer.com. I think odesk will be good for you.
Not other then Elance and Freelancer. We have not better choice other then these two. Providing escrow and biddings.
