Good months earn me $400-1500 but then there are a lot of months that only produce $150-200. I need to get more sites up that are evergreen as right now most of my stuff is seasonal and one of my best sites just went from 100 uniques a day to zero nearly overnight.
I run amazon on a few sites, but they are not currently ranked (new sites.) However I would make a post or two every now and then on my old site pushing a popular toy that was page one for the term and that weekly post or so would get me about 200-400 in sales a month. If your site dropped in uniques, you should look into SEO. If you wish, PM me or email me at and I can check out the site for you.
Wow some really impressive figures for people. How did you guys get into this if I can ask? Any tips for promoting my site?
I got into affiliate marketing after reading a book called "Moonlighting on the Internet" by Yanik Silver. It covered information marketing, affiliate marketing, and a variety of other ways to make an extra $50-500/month in income.
I signed on to help a company as a blog poster when I was 18, Within six months I started targetting key words and made a few blogs pop, so they moved me to SEO; which led into about six years experience with SEO now. Given my numbers aren't huge, for the small tail keyword the amazon conversions were great.
Can anyone please suggest me about the best product to sell amazon affiliate? Also do I need to setup the localization before displaying the product on my website?
We're earning over $1,000 per month per site using one Amazon affiliate theme called http://zonproductfinder.com We have 3 of the sites running now all on auto pilot.
I made $50 last month. Wasn't even trying too hard. I'm revamping my approach since I got into a mess with my attempt at working a 9 to 5.
Right, everyone makes money, but when I asked for links, no one seemed to be forthcoming with any proof of the way they do it. I'm just going to say that I made 10k last month.
if you really got the amount means good . can you please send me what to do to get the same amount from amazon with full details if you dont mind.
Rather than say how much I earn, I would say I hit 8.25% tier in Nov, Dec 2013. I attribute that to holiday season. Usually it's 8%
Everyone says this, and NO ONE posts how or why, or they try to make you buy an ebook that doesn't work and then when you ask for a refund, they are nowhere to be found.
Exactly. Last year I spent more than $150 buying up ebooks that promised. Not 1 delivered. With exception of a squidoo lens building ebook but that eventually got me banned from Squidoo, so that was not fun.
Go read problogger.net for how to make money with Amazon Associates. His strategies are similar to mine. Just that I'm running a different niche. So actually, you won't have to ask people for websites. It's all going to be different people recommending and selling and writing about different stuff. But the strategy is going to be similar, and that is all that matters. http://www.problogger.net/
I bought his book too. I enjoyed NOT making money with it. I ended up going with my own style, and not selling it to anyone and making adsense revenue over amazon affiliate. It's easy to tell others about what you did/do when you're on the top making six figures. Once I get there, I can make ebooks and get everyone to become a believer. Just like John Chow has done in the past.
Here is a good reference on how to make money with amazon - http://www.nichepursuits.com/niche-site-project-2-overview/ . I use this to create my amazon affiliate site...hope this would help for those spend $100++ but none of them give a good result.
Nice way to spam out your link. I've seen that site...yes results may vary, as was the whole point of what I just previously stated.
