From Google Analytics you will get all data about visitors coming to your site.
You can get information about from where they came,
At what time they came and when they left your site
By typing what keywords they came,
To which page of your site they landed and
What OS they were using when they came to your site
You can also get visitor information in Real Time from Google Analytics.

Google Analytics is the best choice if you have it installed for your site. If not, check in your hosting control panel and see what statistics systems are installed. Most hosting companies use AWStats, or something similar. Almost all of these tools give you referrer information, which answers your question about where the traffic is coming from.

    Google Anayltics:
This is the best statistic site available I think and the most popular one too.

    Google Adplanner:
I think that Google AdPlanner should be your first stop to check out any stats about a particular website. As it is mainly for advertisers looking at website statistics to see if it is worthwhile to advertise on a particular site, this makes it a great option to get accurate and reliable data.

    Alexa:
Alexa is another popular web site traffic tracking site and it is owned by Amazon.

    Compete:
Compete is another great website to see how many visitors go to a website.

    Biz Information:
Biz Information is a great website as not only does it provide you with a graph of unique website visitors (from Compete) but it also tells you how much it is worth (although I don’t know how accurate it is).

    Quantcast:
With Quantcast, you have a few options to play with. You can change the graph to show by day, week, month and to select a range of dates to show from one week to all time. Another great thing about Quantcast is that it shows you the US demographics of visitors such as age, sex, income, children and education level.

    URL Trends:
It shows where users are coming from, and you can find more details.

    Quarkbase:
Quarkbase is a free tool to find complete information about a website.

    Statsaholic:
If You are looking for simple and fast statistic, You should visit Statsaholic site, where fellows over there offer data and graphs, which are generously provided by Compete and Quantcast. Enter up to 3 domain names and compare.

    Popuri.us:
Also one simple and great site, just type in website address and get Google pagerank, alexa, compete, quantcast rank, technorati links, yahoo backlinks and more.

    Website Grader:
Website Grader is a free seo tool that measures the marketing effectiveness of a website. It provides a score that incorporates things like website traffic, SEO, social popularity and other technical factors. It also provides some basic advice on how the website can be improved from a marketing perspective.”
