Your Story To Establishment?

Hi guys ,

I got established this week so feeling happy about it , When I came here I was just wondering why in this world people need to be established here,

So after 5 months when I am established I know why.... I want to know your story to establishment here is mine ,

I was bumped, I didn't get anything going wth anyone , not a single conversation , I helped people but it never helped me to be established,
I was banned for posting in wrong category ,
I had exams , I came back and WHoo Suddenly I am established

So Let me here from you , What you suffered when you were not established

 

I had been a long time member on the old DP and had a lot of "reputations" (I think that is what they were called back then) for running successful contests. I left for a year or two (or three) because I got caught up with business and other issues. A few months ago, I needed a logo and a website design and I immediately thought of running a contest. However, I quickly learned that I needed three likes to be able to post a contest.

So, I began posting in subforums that I have some knowledge (sales, marketing and general small business management) and in about ten days I had my 3 likes and could post the contests that I wanted.

Note, however, that in this process I re-discovered how helpful DP is to me in keeping me abreast of trends, etc. So, I have stayed and continued to participate.

 

what is a contest and how it can benefit me ,I want to offer my services in Adsense.

 

I may have been referring to the wrong thing. I had run many contests and the people that won had indicated that it was a good deal, I paid what I said I would, etc. It was some sort of endorsement. That did not seem to come over in the switch. Not a big deal either way.
