    you have to be careful with directories. the big g attacked web directories directly and many of the directories on that list may be the ones that had been penalized. you have to try searching for the directory's domain in google to see if it is still indexed or not.

    Thank you alternatesmoking for this share. But I would like to mention that these resources available for all doesn't work long because when every one starts using these type of resources Uncle G start treating these backlinks as spams.

    So for exercise these type of resources, available for all in public, may be helpful but you should give a second thought before you use them for your money site.

    I AM NOT AGAINST THESE TYPE OF RESOURCES But I had suffered a lot using them. It's my personal experience.

    Directories are good but don't rely solely on this. They should be a small part of building links.
