Do you really "believe" YOUR government invaded Iraq to help the locals out?

Are you saying his agenda is not based on blind hatred of Bush? Have you read his posts?

It was a question. People have a hard time answering questions sometimes. Makes ya wonder, eh?

He is not eluding the question you posed GTech, he is addressing assumptions that the question is based on. That the terrorists are not already winning, and that if we pull out of Iraq, the terrorists will win.

I personally do not believe they are winning, and I believe we should stay in Iraq... for now... but he is not eluding your question.

No sorry Gtech all I see is the usual propaganda quotes that you are great at posting.

How about Gtechs own word and own opinions to my questions?

Do you (personally) believe your government invaded Iraq in their good will to help the local Iraqi people?

I don't think he done such a bad job, not many world leaders have ever had to put up with the sort of situation that the USA has found itself in, it's hard to tell wether the coalition forces have suceeded or failed, on the one hand, no more planes have gone into any moe buildings, on the other plenty attempts have been made to do very similar, + our boys are dying out there, one of my brothers is a corporal for the RLC in the Enlish Army, I hate seeing the news......

This war is as good for Iraqis as good is cutting somebody's hand off for stealing candy.

No propaganda, just the facts, as they were and are. But I can understand why you would want to dismiss them as propaganda.

Question, not question(s). I beleive I did that, you just didn't like the answer. It's very clear why the US went in, with "If the Iraqi regime wishes peace, it will cease persecution of its civilian population, including Shi'a, Sunnis, Kurds, Turkomans, and others, again as required by Security Council resolutions." being one of those reasons.

Which one do you believe was the hardest for saddam to give up?

When you can’t see that someone has answered your question, and accuse them of eluding it, it appears that you do need someone to explain to you that they did answer your question, and point out how they answered it.

Or mass graves or throwing people off three story buildings or acid baths or forced rapes.

Have you ever taken into consider what would happen if we (I use "we" here because I believe you are deceptively avoiding my question regarding being an American) pulled out and who would take over? Do you really hate Iraqis so much as to want that? Or perhaps your own religious ideology falls in step with those consequences?

    Third times a charm?

Is it correct too, ST12, that you are not an American? What country are you from?

Not at all. I prefer not to have fence sitters and those that argue for the sake of arguing, clarifying for me. Fair enough?

Because he knows that I know he's not an America. Ever play chess? You position your pieces just right, then go in for the King. There's a reason. But his silence is speaking volumes right now.

It will all come together, if he's man enough to speak up.

Why not debate about facts instead of practically admitting defeat by attempting to soil the reputation of your opponent?

Normally when you able to prove your opponent's dishonesty, it has an effect.

However, there are so many here that place zero value on their credibility, they really don't care how often they are exposed as liars.

Do facts matter to you, Austars?

Again, you simply jab at ST12 instead of actually saying anything to respond to him. What credibility do you have then, if he's an enormous liar?

That is your preference, and yes, it is fair enough.

My preference is to discuss issues that are of interest to me, and to use the arguments and evidence of others to help form my opinions on matters where I am undecided. It is also my preference that discussions take place in a calm, civil manner where people do not accuse each other of things, and where people take the time to understand the other's point of view and issues. It is also my preference that when someone makes a flawed argument, uses a logical fallacy, or accuses another of evading a question which was clearly (to me at least) answered, that such an error should be pointed out so that the debate can happen in an open, honest manner, and so that a debate does not turn into a flame war over a few misunderstandings here or there.

I will not interfere with your perusing your preferences in a discussion or debate, but when on a forum, I will pursue my preferences in a discussion or debate. Fair enough?
