No one knows about it, this is secret algorithm of Google not to disclose when is going to happen any update.. SEO works on guesses only.....
Yes, only blogger are guesses only. I read some information from internet and SEO services provider that this UPdate is not officially. Google webmaster team push old data for just test purpose to make sure that they solve the backhand issues. Look at this comments from Matt Cutts. https://twitter.com/mattcutts/statuses/409041994707517440
Well, to know about the update you should follow Matt Cutts on twitter, should follow google blog and searchenginewatch. From these sources you will get authentic information before the update launch.
Today I read Matt Cutts update on twitter. "we try to minimize major updates right before the holidays." What Matt Cutt mean by major updates? Is google update pagerank again officially or some thing other? Have any body idea about this!.
Normally I use this site - http://mozcast.com/ to check upcoming google update. High Temperature mean Google is cooking something.
I totally agreed with "Swarup12". Google is busy in cooking. but main point is! what will google next step?
LOL, Google is not a relative of our that he will give us a phone call and will tells us as he is coming to visit our website with an update.. We should always be prepared to unexpected updates.
Why is that bad? Do you not notice that when Google exports the internal PR, that traffic and rankings do no change?
Agent000, Not it's not true. After Google update change traffic and ranking effect majority of sites. But now it's going to past. We need to prepare for next update.
Absolute bullshit and rubbish. You have no idea what you are talking about. there was NO ranking change when Google did that export in early December! Google update PR and factor that into the search results every single day and have been doing that for many years now. All they do is periodically export a historical snapshot of that PR value to the tool bar to amuse us. Some argue that value we get in the tool bar is already at least a few weeks out of date. The PR value in the tool bar is NOT the PR value that Google uses in the rankings. It uses the internal PR that they update daily. Rankings have probably not changed for almost 10 yrs now when they export that PR value!
You don't need to worry about Google Page Rank if you create high quality content that you update frequently, is not full of repeatative keywords and the page doesn't have lots of out going links.
Hmmm, You are right. But iI hear from my clients that they lost traffic after update google pagerank. I think they lost traffic due to other update and they think google pagerank update did this.
They may have lost traffic around that time for Panda, Penguin or any one of the 500 or so tweaks that Google do to the ranking algorthm each yr. It would NOT have been the PR export - some have even argued that the data for the early Dec PR export was already as old as several months when it appeared in the tool bar (I don't think it was that old)
