Does email marketing still work? I used it in the past and never had much luck with it. I don't know why but to me email marketing is such a limited way of doing business. Eventually, people get tired of your offers and shut you off. Maybe it's just me.

Doing solo ads on safelists are more save time and energy. List Joe and List Building Maximizer are hot now.

Safe lists I would stay away from the traffic is not very well converting and for the most part garbage. If you are looking to build your e-mail list I would recommend finding site owners in your niche what many offer is a online newsletter for their audience or what is called an Ezine "electronic magazine". If you are looking for a good quality ezine subscribe to them first and if it appears they actually care about their subscribers, you can later try and purchase a Solo Ad and they will mail your offer to their list in exchange for some $$. If you are tight on money, you can try writing an article for that ezine owner and they will showcase it to their list. That is just a couple of better alternatives to safe-lists.

I wouldn't go for safelists - most of the lists are dead and it is just a waste of time and resources.

I tried safelists years ago without success. Actually I'd forgotten all about them until now.

I don't think any of the "pros" would touch them.
