WE WANT 5000 NEW FREE DIRECTORY LIST ?

    Hi there,

    Instead of trying to promote your website on 5000 free directories, I would recommend focusing on the quality ones. To determine quality, look for relevance, metrics like PR and DA, if the directory is indexed by Google (you wouldn't want to spend your efforts on a directory which isn't even indexed).

    I can recommend you 3 important ones:
    - DMOZ
    - Scrub The Web
    - So Much

    But then again, don't go for free and general web directories. Do a little research on the topic first and see which are the advantages and disadvantages.

    No! No! Do not submit to 5,000 free directories. It will gain you nothing in Google, and it will probably cause you problems instead.

    @Drain Clear UK - Since DMOZ carries more weight, you have to be patient to get a spot. To be accepted in DMOZ, you have to pass through an editor's review of your submitted content. Their guidelines are very important to read before the submission, but even so, following them will not guarantee you will make it onto the list.

    Most of the directories take time to list new websites or content. Some directories take a while for an answer, and unfortunately DMOZ is part of them - even more, it's known it takes a long time.

    However, do not submit your website more than once.
