.co best to use over other TLD's

    So the domains i wanted are taken and .co is available but how does google treat them does it treat them as a .net or .com .org ect..? I know .co is short for company but the thing is im running a forum, a general discussion forum

    I don't think that it matters particularly - the content on your forum is going to have much greater bearing, along with inbound links, & freshness.

    I would imagine that it is more important to ensure your site is totally different to the sites on the .com, .net and .org domains so that you don't get pinged by their lawyers with trademark infringements.

    They are one seems to be based off of personal travel blog and the other one some gaming type site.

    ccTLD .CO, stands for "Colombia", a constitutional Republic located in northwestern South America, also popular as typo of .COm,I think it's good for running a forum.

    I did some further reading, google says it will need to be geo-targeted to the selected country i want it to mainly be index in.
