Fileze.net (http://fileze.net) is a file hosting/ sharing site running on the Yetishare script. File Hosts can be extremely profitable if advertised correctly and a number have been sold on Flippa for many thousands of $$$. Unfortunately I have not had the time to actively promote this site and now want to move onto another project.

Yetishare is the best file hosting script currently available and is well documented, supported and updated. It has an easy- use admin panel. The YetiShare Account details, with support benefits, will be handed over to you.

Around 10 files are uploaded per day. When I was advertising the site, this was much much higher.

Unfortunately no traffic stats can be given for this site as I never bothered to install an analytics program.

-YetiShare Script worth $59.
- YetiShare PPD Plugin worth $59. Allows you to pay your users commission for referring paid upgrades or for downloads. I set this up and you can see the current pay rates here: http://fileze.net/plugins/rewards/site/rewards.php. This can be easily changed at will. The current amount outstanding to users is under $1.
- YetiShare Media Player Plugin worth $59. Allows you to play video and audio files on your site. Supports mp3, mp4, ogg, webm via HTML5. Embed videos and automatically use Flash where HTML5 not supported. This is a great addon which a number of the better file hosting sites have.
-Fileze.net is in the Z-O-O-M uploader (z-o-o-m.eu). http://forum.z-o-o-m.eu/index.php?topic=4154.0. This is a paid inclusion. Z-O-O-M allows it's users to easily upload files to multiple servers from their desktop. A great addition that has brought in many files.
- Two VPS's can be transferred to you for storing files/ running the site.

The Servers:

Fileze.net runs off of two VPS servers (there used to be three). Total space is 200Gb which means that around 120Gb is free. Both servers will be transferred to the successful winner of the auction. Costs could be decreased by placing everything onto one server.

This VPS hosts the website and stores a number of the files. The server has a Webmin control panel on Debian. Webmin is a very functional and relatively easy to use control panel. Webmin is also free. Typically around 100mb of ram is being used without any site activity.

This is a storage VPS running debian. The site connects to the server via FTP.

Marketing:

$10 was spent on an Adhitz.com campaign. 212 clicks were delivered. This brought in a number of members.

The PPD program was advertised on DP. This would have to be the best method for promotion. A number of file hosting sites rely on this alone. DMCA:

No DMCA complaints have been received thus far. Just remove files if there is ever a complaint (it's straight fowrard in the admin panel).

No revenue. Yetishare makes it easy to insert ads though. You would just need to find the right network.
