    If you want to compete why not get something custom built that operates better than their site and provides a better user experience. You want to have an edge over the competition not be the same. :)

    I also think that wordpress is great but I was going for DLE because the ease with which registered user can submit new articles. Where as in wordpress to submit an article the user will have to go the admin section which seems a lot much complicated when compared to the Datalife engine.
