Why you use certain SERP tracker? What's the most important feature that you like in certain SERP trackers.

I'm working hard with my team on an website that will do SERP tracking and i want to integrate there things that matter for specialists.

For power SEO's, please write something. Really need to know what you appreciate most.

The most important features that a serptraker needs to have are : accurate reports,fast updates,yahoo and bing tracking,nice graph charts and of course awesome support.

I use SerpBook and MicroSiteMasters.

 

Which feature you like most?

 

I use Serp tracker SEscout. It's very different among other products. It gives you a clear overview of everything in one neat view. It’s easy to immediately pick up what’s going on. The panel at the top gives a general overview of your PR, number of backlinks and top position in Google/Bing; is a winner. It is also very useful because the reports are available in both PDFs and CSVs.

 

Is there any SERP tracker website responsive? I mean are you up to work on their app on the phone?

 

I went and tried their demo. Very nice. What do you like more in there? Is that number of back-links really useful?

 

You can also try SerpBook they're very nice too.Most people say that back-links are really useful but I think it's will just be very useful if you build high quality back links.

I use RankTracker from linkassistant, i've found that its a great way to track your serp, and it has a quite a lot of features, the feature that i like the most about it is the "change in serp" feature, which will tell you the positions that you've gone up or down since the last check.

Rank Tracker (by linkassistant.com) and WebMeUp (online SEO platform with an advanced SERP tracking module) are my favorites.

The former is a desktop app that provides great options for customization of geo-targeted ranking check and has great reporting facilities. And the latter one is an online solution that one allows me to check my and my competitors' ranks, compare rankings results, etc. from any browser.

 

@Kianu42 why do you use both of them?...is there any feature missing and you find it in another one?

In terms of functionality these tools are pretty much the same.

Talking about Rank Tracker, I have been using the tool for quite a long time and am fully satisfied with its functionality and the accuracy of data it provides.

As for WebMeUp, I have recently started using the app for some of my SEO activities (link building, site audit, etc.) and discovered that its rank checking module is also very flexible and accurate. So I recommend it as a good alternative to those who are looking for a web-based rank checking solution.

Analyze and try all your competitors' software... test their features and see what you can add new - asking what is a person's favorite feature means replicating it for your serp tracker and you are not going to be able to beat your competition with that (they already have loyal customers using their features).

@Iulia Lacriceanu the idea was to understand what people likes best in every tool they use. And for me is important to check every tool. Your advice is good, and this is the schema i follow
