during a visit on a site worldtruth.tv i shocked when i see a lot of adsense ads on a page weather a visitor is on home page or inner page but the pages are full of adsense ads i hear google do not allow more then 3 on a page how the make it possible any idea ? its really great if some one gets how they make it possible so we can use on our sites too
If I remember correct upto 3 ad units plus upto 3 link units were allowed at the latest update of adsense policy. I have however seen 4-5 ad units on some sites...still noticing such here and there. I thought those additional ones were simply being ignored/not displayed/, but they actually do appear... But google wants more money/stock pricing/, soooooo why not along all the manipulation of their own results via their so called "updates", not allow pages full of ads that actually do look like shit................. However, if you place too many the CPC will be lower. I think (depending on the page content) 2-3 ad units and 1 link unit are quite enough and OK in regard of CPC
Yes 3 ad units enough i am not sure about the mentioned above site's earning however as i see all of them are ad units non of these are link units as the site have a very good traffic i cant imagine that the webmaster is just a new to adsesnse so he might know what he is doing so if his ads are showing but giving nothing in return he might no place them
Any more than 3 just show as blank spaces. You will find some premium publishers are allowed to run more than three ads. Also by using the Google publisher network ads it can sometimes display more than 3. That said WOW! just check out the site you mentioned - 15(!) 300x250 adsense ads running in the sidebar alone!!!! So we can assume they have done something with the code, as no way is adsense even going to let a premium publisher run that many ads. An interesting site you've raised.
They use a small hax for AdSense, bringing the ADS from other websites as well, this is why you can see 10+ on that website. I don't see anything interesting in this website and I don't think that is bringing a lot of AdSense clicks because of this trick.
RosuC its not the point that how much it earns even he earns nothing however as my friend Adsenseplr stated some premium publisher display more then 3 but this site exceeding the premium threshold too and there is no blank space and i think it should be learned instead of just WOW if some one place a ad on another site and put iframe on another one Google will start sending warnings within next one hour of iframe placements
MrPJH - I agree with you but the scope of AdSense is to bring money I do have many websites with AdSense on them and I'm not putting more than 2 on each - and these 2 very well implemented are bringing much more money than all that 15 presented on the website that OP presented here
As response: googleads google adservice - for Google + ams1 clickbooth adclick These are the 5 services that this site is using - they post 3 of them from each - this is how he's having 15 ADS on his main page. I don't see any problem from any of these 5 ADS providers.
First time I see so much Adsense ads. I see the guy has some archive, around 2011 he started, for sure is not some novice.
According to Google, you are allowed up to three link units on a page, in addition to the three standard ad units and two search boxes..Obviously this guy is going way over that so I'm not really sure how he's doing it. iFrames maybe...
if you put an iframe contained adsense ad you will receive a warning within half an hour of placement from google
I am not a premium publisher, and I tested more than 3 ad units in my site (infact I used 6 and all loaded successfully). So I think Google might have changed their no. of ads limit for publishers earning above a specific threshold (Again I assuming, not sure though)
I have tested more than three on a site and seen it work, and did the same thing on another site and it didn't work. Either way, keep in mind that Google has other ways of reacting to a site with more than three. So maybe it's now a "guideline" instead of a strict rule. It's also possible to put the largest link units next to each other to make them look like one large ad.
Those website are run by Adsense premium publishers. Only they have right to display more than 3 ads in a page also they can can remove "AdChoices" link in the ads.
I did a test myself and I found that I can show maximum 5 Adsense ads on my site. However I must mention that 3 ads belong to googleadservices and 2 ads from doubleclick, ad codes are from one account, my own Adsense account.
You need to become a Adsense premium publisher to be able to place more then 3 ads on your blog/website.
I think, Google might have changed their TOS. I recommend to raise the same question in Webmaster Guidelines.
No you don't, I'm not premium publisher and I can put 5 ads. I've sent a message to Adsense regarding this aspect, I still wait for a reply from them.
All along, I have the same thoughts as some members above - 3 ad placement and 3 links. Will be good to hear what Google has to say with regards to this.
