    There is no such thing as the perfect back-link checker, so I always use more tools and compare reports. Some of my favorite tools have already been mentioned, but I'd like to list them all here:

    You can try Google Webmaster tools and Ahrefs.com for more accurate back link detail about website but Google Webmaster tools back link count is strongly impact at SERP.

    Todion is absolutely right. Moreover you can easily download all your backlinks that Google has indexed so far for your website from Webmasters account. And its completely free. You just have to verify your website there.

    I would also recommend using Google Webmaster Tools and I never can get http://www.searchenginegenie.com/google-back-link-checking.html working, anybody else with the same problem?

    Alexa.com, they have an extension for Google Chrome. It shows you your world ranking, ranking within your country, as well as number of back links. ;)

    i have use ahrefs and GWT ,
    to get the accurate no of backlinks to any blog or website , search no of backlinks with any of the 3 listed websites ,add and then divide with 3 to get the perfect No of backlinks.

    use this formula.

    No of backlinks= (Backlinks from tool no1+Backlinks from tool no2+Backlinks from tool no3)/3
