great new feature: Google to index mobile apps as websites

A great new feature just out in Google search: it now indexes mobile apps as if they were websites! From the horse's mouth, this has just appeared on the Webmasters Central blog:

and this feature will become a reality for users in just a few weeks. That's "pretty awsum" if you ask me.

I think it opens up some new doors to anyone marketing/selling mobile apps. Sounds like that niche may have some SEO to do.
