How much I can get for my Directory?

I have a web directory site from last 5+ years but I never give proper time on this site. So I am thinking to sell out this. But I need your valuable suggestions that should I sell out this site or not and how much money I should hope to get? Web directory details are as given below:

Last year only 2 premium links, current year 1 link, Adsense earning is very low around $2-5 monthly, very low earning because I am not serious for this site.

I would say $60 - $80 for it.

 

The value in a directory is the database and you don't really have one so the value is zero. A directory without a database is just a script and not really a directory.

I wanted to let you know that my site data base have 2,777 active ( free) links links and approx 46,000 registered users, I am not sure how many are genuine/verified E-mail. The PHPLD scripts cots $25 also.

anyway, I am not going to offer these things for free

A good database runs 30 to 50+thousand quality human edited submissions, 2,777 is a joke! I don't open a directory unless it has at least 5,000 sites in it.

 

If you will take your site a bit in serious and bring the adsense traffic to $50 per month you can get up to $600 for it.

At this moment i can only recommend you to post ads in the action areas of the site (under or above submission forms). Try to copy the design of the buttons of the certain ads....to match with your website. I know is not fair regarding to users....but it's fair regarding to your pocket

In the meantime try to get a higher authority of the site. Maybe you can get some premium links too.

A tip for you....i will never submit a link to a directory which don't have a decent logo at-least or a somehow customized design.

Probably the first question people will ask is "How much have you made with the directory recently?". Then they will want proof of payments and traffic. Make sure you have a good answer. You can always try offering it on Flippa with a Reserve price.

that's why part of directories are spam now and not giving good opportunity to pass the
