Get someones name and address from paypal

I am not sure how to approach this but I wondered how difficult it might be to get someones name and address from paypal? For example if you did not disclose the name address with the transaction, you lost an appeal and now wanted to follow up with legal action - in the instances of a civil case, does anyone have any idea what the process would be?

You could call PayPal for the info, and if they say no, get a lawyer to contact them in regards to the case.

Also, you can look through other records for information. Email, chats, their site if they have one.

When you or a lawyer start a civil action it will only take a subpoena to get that information.

they HAVE to have a subpoena there is no way around that especially if it is not on your invoice. Privacy is very big and it takes more then asking to release that information. Your best bet is to hope your lawyer can get it in a timely manner because even after the subpoena they will have a certain amount of time to hand over the information.

You can get anything you want as long as you have the money, and time to do it....
and is it really worth it, and just because you sue, and even win, then what...it may
have cost you lots more money, and if the other party has no money, you still loose....
so unless the other party has mega bucks, then do not expect much out of this
even if you do win; no one is ever going to make a small time crook pay up...
and so what if he did have money. These mega companies have law suits
all the time, and they sometimes drag these suits out for years....

A friend got hit by a car; the fault was on the other driver....
friend took driver too court, and won! friend still got nothing.....
not only did friend lose car in accident; friend got nothing
from the drivers insurance (no insurance) nor the driver.....
so what the driver got hit with court costs, fines, loss of lic
for a few months, big deal, friend still got zero....
