I have good content writers, but getting quality and pure (casino/gambling links free etc.) blogs that allow guest posts is not easy.
It's not moral enough, if you insert hidden links in your plugins without telling plugin users. If plugin users intentionally put or allow your link as credit on their sites (which is rare), then you can think yourself very lucky.
Directory submission is easy.. and it is still beneficial, I know people complain about director submission as it doesn't help... if you check link profile of Yahoo, About.com, they have done quality directory submission first... almost all the businesses who are involved in online marketing, they know value of directory submission.... directories are made mainly for SEO... for each submission, you create a page with directory, your submissions are listed in the different page with list of other websites, there many directory software so natural link building can be gained.... If you use fresh description, vary anchor text, and you do slow directory submission on regular basis, you would see improvement.. But directory submission wouldn't help a lot if you are fighting with competitive keywords, you have to take help of other link building methods too. Thats why I target low competitive keywords and I rank them with the help of directory submission only.. Directory submission is the oldest method of link building.. Google is against any website, it is not against with any method of link building or promotion.
Wow digitalpoint has cleaned it act up a lot since I was last here! I would have expected a list of automated tool to have been posted here back in the day and a few tips on using them. When it comes to easy linkbuilding you have to think automated which can still work if you are careful, layered links still does it for me with SE Nuke and GSA the driving force behind this.
The easiest is - to buy links or hire someone else to do the job! and both are better than directory submissions... if you have a budget, you can do a lot of things - to build easy links. Get infographics - promote them a bit, easiest way to get links do press release - spend some money to promote it and you will get backlinks from some of the top media sites. most of them will be nofollow, but you will get a rare few dofollows too. Web2.0 - There are plenty of such high profile sites from where you can get dofollow backlinks, the latest find - medium.com Guest Blogging - it is not that easy, unless you have a budget. But surely, you can give it a try, thanks, Uttoran Sen,
I never mentioned to sneak a link... if you designed a great plugin you can be rewarded with just a link... It's the same with building a template for OpenSource software. A copyright link in the footer is normal and allowed and it will automatically spread a link for you.
I strongly suggest these days the diagrams for publishing your content - levels 1-3 will work the best. And don't spam, you was mentioning the niche gambling and casino - these are still working perfect in most of the blogs - all is about the content pushed. I may help if you really want to promote your website properly
Then you better hire some professional guest blogger. These blogger (including me) have a good network
