    Hi,
If you can’t wait for the Google PR.

You can look in the google sitemaps http://www.google.com/sitemaps After validation on “statistics”, you find what I think is the real time value of your site PR.

From my experience low equals to pr1-pr4, medium from pr5 up, high (I don’t know) :).

So if you have some green on the medium bar you have pages pr 5 or more.
Also a tip, if you look on the source code you can know exactly the percentage

So 4% pages equal or above pr5

    Cheers

I hope you are right but I have a feeling that the green bars are a bit of a red hearring as I have a couple of sites with full green bars on the Low and they dont return very highly at all for my keywords and they dont have any back links yet. I have a couple of other sites with a fair number of back links that are reading about 60% on the green bar in Low value that come up on the second page in google with a PR of 1-2.

I would be interested to see if anyone else can validate your theory, fingers crossed.

Although if the green bars aren't possible indicators of future PR then I would be interested to find out what they are for?

Probably from some feedback from members we can figure out what high PR is :)
And some confirmation on the medium PR value of PR5+.

PR doesn’t relate to SERP you can have high PR with low SERP and the reverse.

I personally beleive its very accurate. I guess I wil find out for sure after the next update.

Have you noticed how often those green bars are updated?

Didnt' turn out too accurate for me. For a couple months before the last update, one of my sites showed medium for almost all the pages.

I did get some raise, but only one interier page was pr5, the home is pr3 and the rest pr2. :(

Normally there is a delay, last PR update the value exported was a snapshot of 2 months earlier, so even if it shows PR5+ pages now! The pr update can give you a different value.
I think this is the most reliable source for real time PR at this moment.

I don't really understand it, some of my sites have got full low bars, others got it not full, but got the medium bar by the middle, what does that mean?

All low now, pretty much as expected accept there should be a little green in the medium for my PR 5 page. I think they dropped a little while after the last update.

I had high hopes before the update though:D

Well if you have a full 'low' bar then it means all of your sites pages have a low PR (0-3).

If you have half a 'low' bar and half a 'medium' bar then it means half of the pages are low PR and half are medium PR (5-7).

This is my understanding. The numbers is brackets are guesstimations.

I dont know what you mean. You mean the indicator of pagerank is useless or pagerank in general is useless?

If you think PR is useless then it means links are useless, if links are useless then google search is useless, if google search is useless then the hundreds of visitors it sends me are useless.

How come I keep getting adsense payments

I just got a red infraction for starting this thread on “Digital Point Forums > Search Engines > Directories”, I started the thread there because directory owners are the people that most care about PR.
I don’t understand this moderators, a YELLOW one I can understand but a RED one :p.

It should have been in the google thread, but a red rep is abit harsh.

    But rules are rules!

Nice tip. I always used to make assumptions based on that one.

Because it if after all from google itself.
