Hello, I first like to say I usually do'nt start threads. I love to read and I usually find my answer that way. But Im having trouble with my H1 tags. I have meta titles, descriptions and keywords down pretty good. I found out I do better with examples. So I will give you an example of a page from my website. Page Title: "TV Installation | TV Wall Mount Installation | Flat Screen Installation" Now from that title what would my H1 tag look like? I have been working on my Local SEO ("just reading for now") so keep that in mind when you give me a example of H1 tag. Thank you

I would make the H1 one Theme:
    For example:
Easy TV Installation of a Wall Mount
    H2:Flat Screen installation

    Hi allen101

If your H1 tag appears as the post heading – which I presume it does – then this is a bit long. It's going to wrap over two lines.

The main aim of your heading for the page is to get the reader to read on - into the first paragraph. So the heading needs to pique their interest, be clear about the information that is going to be given (which is the direction you are going in), or promise some sort of education.

So titles like "How to…", Or "Seven ways you can…", et cetera usually work well.

Personally, I find that if I have crafted the meta title tag well (and the purpose of that is similar to that of the page heading) then I can usually use the title tag text as the H1 tag of the page.

Your H1 tag looks a bit dry and slightly on interesting to me. And, as I said, I think it's a little long.

I hope this helps and good luck with your site.

One H1 tag allow for one post. If you are using WP CMS then your post title automatically generate with H1 tag. So you can use h2 - h6 tags in your main post. W3schools is a great resource for learning h1-h6 tag. I give a example with your title.

Your title : TV Installation | TV Wall Mount Installation | Flat Screen Installation

h1 : Wall Mount TV ideas on Installation (you can use 1 tag for 1 post)
h2 : A guide for installation Flat screen and Wall Mount TV [ you can Use h2 tag(differently) many times as you want]

    h1 & h2 html structure :

<h1>Wall Mount TV ideas on Installation</h1>
<h2>A guide for installation Flat screen and Wall Mount TV</h2>
    Code (markup):
As like as , use h3-h6. Make it with your post relevancy. Hope you can understand. Let me know if you need to know more about this.

Don't go with anything more than 3-4 words! Go with your MAIN keyword (that you want to rank in Google!). You could use 2-3 H2 tags with RELATED your main keyword (but this should be done ONCE per 300-400 words!) :)
