Hi, I have a funny memes website, http://www.wannaLOL.com , on which i have been running Google Adsense for over an year. Suddenly today they stopped serving ads and am getting the following error on my dashboard : Any hints what could have triggered this ? I have previously received warnings for Explicit Text but they all were resolved on same day. Thanks in Advance, Akshay
took 2 seconds to find all this: https://www.google.com/search?q=sex...firefox-a&gfe_rd=cr&ei=p3ZhUv7YB-PC8gf5sIHgCw
Took me 1/2 second as soon as the front page appeared two video images in the sidebar featuring women in provocative poses - instant ban! They state that any provocative images can result in a ban, note that's not nude but just provocative. They don't need to be nude images to get you a ban it does state this deeper in their policies. 100% certain that's your ban reason. Happened to 2 clients of mine. The way I always put it to people is this "Would the image offend a Muslim?" - if the answer is yes then don't put it on your site. The images I saw would clearly cause offence to a lot of muslims. The question you have to ask is would a muslim advertiser be happy to have their adsense ad next to a picture of a virtually naked woman, chances are high that they won't be happy. Also given the list Agent000 pulled up above then the chances of you getting your account back are virtually none. The list he's pulled up shows multiple breaches, reference to sex etc. You will need to remove every provocative picture, ad, wording related to sex to stand any chance of appeal. Also the message doesn't indicate if you have the right of appeal or not. Hope the above helps but probably not the news you were hoping for.
its just not 'sex', its 'porn' too: https://www.google.com/search?num=1...-4.4.0....0...1c.1.29.serp..4.0.0.NUWT7tyBfSc
hey. thanks for your input. @Agent000 : Thanks for the catch. Since most of it is user driven content, shall put some check to restrict user. @adsenseplr : These ads are CPX ads and all, which I put once adsense got blocked. Thats why I don like them much because of the content they display.
Many peoples use sex words... many health & fitness care blogs use sex words but they are not blocked.
I've used the odd sex word on my sites and my ads wouldn't load on that page, it wasn't even meant in a sexual way, for example "Food Porn", the word porn alone disables ads instantly, thankfully I figured that out quickly and stopped using any reference to sex even in a comedic way.
