Hey guys I was just browsing directories and I went to Surch.com, and I noticed they just cut their prices insanely

They have their featured links which are normally $39.95 and now they're selling for $9.95 a piece.

The regular links are also normally $19.95, and now they're down to $4.95 a year.

Just wanted to announce this deal to you guys, I submitted my links .

I don't know much about them but their directory home page is PR0 and even the main domain is only PR2.

What warrants the high prices? Do they have a huge ad campaign?

    thanks

I'm personally waiting for validation of surch.com when they launch a tv campaign that they say they're going to do. This will tell me they really have a large financial backing and so submission would be worth it for me.

Wow, can't believe it. A pr2 directory charges $4.95/year for regular links, and $9.95 for featured links, even the sub pages are all pr0! Maybe those webmasters who submitted to it had a lot of budget.

I submitted to climb marketing site, with the page I linked to is pr6, for only $10. It's permanent, and the webmaster also offered me 4 other featured links in 4 pr0-3 directories. Its thread should be still in this forum, go and check it.

Surch is supposed to be a highly financed search engine. A directory with millions of dollars in marketing money would be well worth the money.

I notice there's an error after submission: Invalid link id. I guess the submission still went through, though.

it is not worthy at this moment. surch only has hundreds backlinks.
I admit the outlook of this new search engine is cool. Hope it can beat google one day. :D

Well it's definately clean and money and time has obviously been put into it. This makes the PR and backlinks a bit odd.

I would be careful, surch.com has spammed blogs, and uses Adware. It might not help in the long run.

Hmmm dont really know much about the site but will see what happens when the next PR update hits.
Maybe he will see some PR luv :p

As for the page strenght....... its good, though the amount of links its showing compared to the sites creation date.
2000 backlinks doesnt impress me my newest site thats less than a month old already has more links.

Design is very nice though i have to admit it looks sweet...

    thx

If this thing is legit the directory is well worth it, otherwise it will likely go under once its totally exposed as a fraud and submissions will be worth nada.

I'm sure the directory will reflect the standing of it's main domain just like yahoo's directory benefits from being part of yahoo.
