Two more days before a possible default:
Nation at large about 80% disgusted with tea party Congress per most recent polls
Majority of Republicans disgusted with tea party Congress per most recent polls
Hundreds of thousands of people kicked out of work and more people losing income every day: Its because of the Tea Party Congress that never compromises-> only blackmails the United States

....and the 20% tea partiers keep talking to themselves patting themselves on the backs and buying into Ted "bin laden" Cruz's self purchased poll.

    ...and that defines a cult.

...and here is another update. The House GOP tried to come up with their own plan to submit for negotiations before a default.

The House GOP could not come up with a plan they could put forward!!!!

Just think about that. There is an impending US default that can create complete and utter world wide financial crisis. The GOP majority in the House can't come up with a program to avert it.

Unfortunately for the US and the entire world the Republican side of the House of Representatives of the US Congress is dominated by a Radical Extremist group that is hell bent on a major world crisis.

Hopefully if and when the Senate comes up with a compromise it will be presented to the House and the 40-50 GOP representatives who have been voting out of fear will vote to avoid a crisis.

    We'll see.

Meanwhile I predict the vocal backers of the extremist cult will entertain and educate the rest of us with images from the radical destructive right wing extreme.

(come on boys...don't disappoint me :D)

Here is a good reason the House GOP has hit an all time low in polling history: http://www.usatoday.com/story/money...-negative-watch-us-aaa-credit-rating/2989837/

Bond credit company warns of lowering US credit ratings.

Meanwhile House GOP members again were unable to come up with a compromise plan, tabled their meetings and are going to end up voting on a compromise submitted by the Senate, should the Senate once again come up with something.

Simply astonishing. The GOP house is completely unable to participate in governance in any level...is pushing the US to a possible default, the members of Congress are getting paid. Meanwhile the most radical of tea party members of congress met with the guy conservative commentators have dubbed Ted "bin laden" Cruz at a DC basement bar yesterday. http://hoh.rollcall.com/tortilla-coast-basement-not-so-secret-anymore/

...today after their evening tequila meeting House radical tea partiers killed any chance of the House actually contributing to solving this crisis.

Gee, Earl, I'm going to have to start calling you Menj. Three posts at a time, ignoring all conversation directed at you, opting instead to give airtime to extremist views. Whats next, are you going to start quoting the Qu'ran? You are WAY over the line of spam.

By the way, why do all liberals seem to vomit out the same talking points, quite literally word for word?

which points do you hate the most o-nation?

Is it the fact that the senate must try and solve the problems in congress because the House dominated by a Republican majority can't actually govern as a part of the country?

Is it that the Republican House is dominated by a mafia like strong arm of independent radicals that threaten GOP members of congress? This independent group has effectively made the Republcan party worthless. They have no part in governance. It appears to be of their own making.

Is it the part about GOP members of Congress being described as Cowards...basically by conservative voices no less?

Is it that in the last effort for the GOP house to be considered a relevant part of government the independent outside mafia elements of the tea party threatened GOP members of Congress simply telling them they are going to score the vote and run even further whacked out radicals against them in GOP primaries?

Is it the political ramifications that now have the GOP polling lower than at any time in polling history? (that is quite an accomplishment--or should I say an incredible example of an entire party out of touch with the entire nation)

Is it the political polls that now show that a majority of republicans disapprove of the tea party??

Which point(s) bother you the most?

Wall Street Journal editorial skewers House Republicans and tells them to vote on the Compromise offered by the Senate: On the one hand the WSJ identifies about 20 hard core tea partiers that won't agree to anything with anybody. On the other hand it identifies about 30 GOP members of Congress sick of Ted Cruz and the Right Wing threat mafia Heritage Foundation: http://online.wsj.com/news/articles/SB10001424052702304561004579137791687537388

Simply the WSJ is realistically one of the most conservative media sources in the nation. Very telling how sick the WSJ is with the tea party members of congress.

Here is something you almost never see: A major Newspaper publicly and loudly Regrets its endorsement of a candidate.

The Houston Chronicle dramatically published an editorial regretting their endorsement of Ted Cruz. (you know of Ted Cruz--he is the senator that some members of the conservative press have started to call Ted "bin laden" Cruz. He is the darling instigator of the tea party.

A look into how outside groups threaten and hijack Congress from the American people

The National Journal is a long time Conservative source that has terrific reporters, and great access to Republicans in Congress. Its been one of the lead sources of news as to what really occurs in Congress and what is going on with members of the GOP, tea party or not:

Here it describes the virtual minute to minute detail of what goes on in this threat to create a massive US default and in particular how a proposed offer by the House of Representatives never even emerged from the conflicted House:

These paragraphs describe how outside forces work to influence Republicans:

UPDATE (2:16 p.m.): Club For Growth: Don't Vote For This Deal

The Club For Growth has issued a "key vote" on the Reid-McConnell deal. They're a no:

"This announced plan, the details of which aren't completely known, appears to have little to no reforms in it. There are no significant changes to ObamaCare, nothing on the other major entitlements that are racked with trillions in unfunded liabilities, and no meaningful spending cuts either. If this bill passes, Congress will kick the can down the road, yet again."

Heritage Action had key voted Tuesday's House GOP plan as a no, but they haven't come out with a statement on the latest deal. House conservatives were already likely to largely vote against the Reid-McConnell plan, but this move from the Club For Growth just makes going against leadership a bit easier. (By Matt Berman)

When you reference issues by the Club for Growth or Heritage Action group they warn members of congress they will "score" a vote on an issue...and bring it to the very reactionary right wing during GOP primaries.

Basically these outside groups have this unbelievable power over the fate of the US and the fact that we still at this moment could go into financial default.

How one GOP member of Congress feels about these outside groups, pressures and its effect on Republicans:
Meanwhile one Louisiana Republican member of Congress finally spoke his mind about the tea party and its mafia like threat groups: Here are his words. He questions if these independent groups have anything in common with Republicans or any connection to governing:

In a sign of the internal backlash against the right wing of the House Republican Conference, Louisiana Republican Charles Boustany questioned the political allegiances and motivations of his tea party-aligned colleagues and said they had put the GOP majority at risk in the current shutdown fight.

"There are members with a different agenda," Boustany said Wednesday in an interview in his office. "And I'm not sure they're Republicans and I'm not sure they're conservative."

His comments came a day after rank-and-file House Republicans rejected a package to reopen the government authored by their own leader, Speaker John Boehner. The result is that a bipartisan Senate-authored deal to end the two-week government shutdown appears poised to pass with almost nothing of substance gained by House conservatives for the shutdown they precipitated.

"The speaker has said consistently unless we can put 218 votes up, and preferably more than that, our ability to negotiate is pretty much undermined and that's the problem we've repeatedly found ourselves in," said Boustany, who has served since 2005 and is a senior member of the Ways and Means Committee. "Look at payroll tax. Look at fiscal cliff. You can go on and on. There are a handful of members – the numbers sort of vary, it's in the 20-30 range – that are enough to derail a Republican conservative agenda in the House."

Boustany said those lawmakers are so obsessed with opposing any compromise that they end up driving the final legislative result further from the broader GOP goals. "I think there are members who are in complete denial about their responsibility to govern and to try to use conservative principles to get the best possible legislative package we can get," he said.

Rep. Mick Mulvaney, R-S.C., who typically lines up with the most conservative faction of the House, agreed that the GOP rejection of Boehner's plan has resulted in a "much, much worse" deal at a monthly forum sponsored by the Heritage Foundation Wednesday.

Boustany, a former surgeon who is not known as the most outspoken GOP member, said he fears his party's inability to rule the chamber with its own majority is threatening its hold on the House.

"This could trigger a wave of discontent that could wash out our Republican majority in the House if we're not careful – it's getting to that level," Boustany said.

And he pointed the blame squarely at tea party lawmakers who he said were more concerned about bolstering their conservative bona fides than governing.

"Their allegiance is not to the members in the conference. Their allegiance is not to the leadership team and to conservative values," he said. "Their allegiance is to these outside Washington DC interest groups that raise money and go after conservative Republicans."

Only a handful of House Republicans have spoken out publicly against the hardline faction of the House GOP, but Boustany said the shutdown had grown their numbers. "There is a very large silent majority that's getting frustrated with what's happening because of what these outside groups have done by setting false expectations, deliberately misleading the public on some of these issues and commanding allegiance of certain members who falsely place their allegiance to these groups rather than to their constitutional responsibility to govern," he said.

At this point there is a stunning size, breath and ever more vocal disdain for the tea party that comes from the mouths of Republicans and Conservatives.

Five posts without a reply, and you just keep on talkin to yerself.

Tell you what Earl. You just take all your editorials with you to the poll in Nov of 2014. Be sure to print them out on soft paper so you can use them to wipe your tears.

I can just picture the Democratic campaign slogans..... "Those Republicans tried to make us come up with a budget but we sure showed them". Don't worry if the Democrats decide not to use such an absurd strategy, I'm sure their Republican counterparts will be reminding voters of why the government is broke.

Good to see you O-Nation: Here is some more news for you. News Not fantasy cr@p from the tea party mouthpieces: The Senate Passed the budget bill 81-18. Didn't take long: http://nbcpolitics.nbcnews.com/_new...-debt-deal-to-end-standoff-house-to-vote-soon

Now we'll see what the full house does with this bill.

I'm also glad you're psyched about Nov. 2014. You and the rest of the tea partiers have a lot of work to make up for this two week exercise in which you exposed yourselves to the American public. The public grew to despise your efforts. Not just the public....the Republicans part of the Public. Last poll I saw shows that over 50% of Republicans are pissed off with the tea party. Now you have main line Republicans running candidates against the tea party. Now everyone else is aiming at the tea party.

    You better start working. ;)

On the one hand you really do need to sort out the debt, it means you're in a bubble if you need ever-growing credit to prop up the system.

On the other hand is the drop that many of the more well-off will go through by just stopping the increasing credit needed to keep it afloat.

It's at this stage (well before this really) I would consider starting new ventures to make me some money but many of you hate the idea of government running highly profitable businesses so how long do you think you have before your interest payments on the increasing debt will pass 75% of GDP?

Remembering the Fed can print money for nothing then charge the government interest on it, how long can government keep borrowing more and more?
