i think you just don't get overly attached with PR thing... better late than never.. just focus on your content.. someday it will come
I focus on selling my product, I do not be care about pagerank, but my site is pr 2 ( 5 year old ) , category in traveling hoping Pr still run well, but I do not be worry because I sell my product only
A post about this has been made earlier this month. Here it is https://forums.digitalpoint.com/threads/no-pr-update-this-year.2685462/
I am also waiting for PR update but i think its better to concentrate more on contents and make natural backlinks for website and consider AR, DA, PA of your website.
The news made me sad too when I first heard it. Especially since there still are a lot of people that price Google's toolbar pagerank and put more value on it than on other indicators. And with such rare updates how is an honest folk like me supposed to make some money?
If PR is so important, then why has my ranking dropped exponentially, and my Adsense earnings down from ~$50.00/day to $1.00/day? It has been PR5 for years.
Do you all think that PR is still a big part of Google's algorithm? Because I think with all of the Penguin and Panda stuff, PR is vestigial at this point.
NO and it hasn't been for such a long time...this should be common knowledge for so many of you. Don't worry about pagerank, jeez. No update this year? Doesn't matter in the slightest. WebDev
Glad to see I'm not the only one who feels that way WebDev. I'll give you an example for unbelievers. My site is only "PR2" however one of my "N/A" page rank pages ranks number 5-6 on google for the term "CentOS VPS" (which is a very competitive term I might add) and brings in about 1500 visitors per month. It is because the content is relevant for users and the on page SEO is decent.
