Currently, Yoast sitemap do not display categories which have no post. How to display all categories (include no post) in sitemap? Thanks for help.
Avoid using Yoast for SEO. the plugin is super bloated, slows your site down, and always has problems and glitches. use something simpler like All in one SEO pack, you'll be glad you did.
The Yoast is good but how i see sitemap is the problem If you are using Wordpress, try Google sitemap plugin
Yes, I agree. There are lot of parameter to set up actually. That was make the blogging complicated. If compared to All in One SEO which is a friendly user WP plugin with Yoast SEO, I prefer All in One SEO.
Yoast sitemap will not showing the categories which does not have any post to prevent any crawl error from search engine especially Google. I believe this is the best way to reduce the crawl errors.
It's not right at all, seo by yoast have manythings that AIO Seo doesn't support, at thing make me like seo by yoast is...it leading in invovation, if you use wp post by yoast from beginning time, it's very good and better than AIO SEO at that time, specific is custom post type seo parameter, AIO SEO after that updated their supported as Yoast, also, AIO SEO lighter but not visually, Yost better if you know how to take advantage of its
Yes, that was the advantages of Yoast SEO plugin. But how about the increasing of crawling errors? I received lot of messages from webmasters team to notify me about the errors. I've been used Yoast SEO plugin on my directory site but then moved on to AIO SEO plugin after the crawl errors unresolved. Everything goes fine just after I changed to AIO SEO.
Yoast SEO quite good in making site better, also adding - fixing header tags, i don't know how about your site and the way it's coded, did you disable everything, and see if there's still getting problems?, plugins does itself make site better in SEO but not all of things, most error base on coding....
Yes, I did disable and then reactivating all plugins but the issue remain unsolved. Like you said, maybe the theme not coded well or suit with Yoast SEO plugin.
yap , you can find standardt title tag, robots, .htaccess (deny - allow) or something like that, you will found that not all of plugin cause
Hey, I faced lot of issues with Yoast site map too and after doing a bit of research work I started to use Google XML map plugin for wordpress. So I would prefer using Yoast by SEO but for Sitemap I will use Google XML map. Try it and it should resolve all your problems. To people who feel that All in one SEO is better than Yoast; I would say AIOSEO is simple to use but lacks features which are offered by Yoast. If you are running a big site then go for Yoast and it is one of the best SEO Plugins around
