Hello folks I have a website 4 years old and i never change Title,Description and keywords. What will happen if i change keywords? Did i will lose traffic to my website and maybe PR?
keywords are like the basic building blocks for a website in SEO. Even though the latest Hummingbird update Stresses on semantics search but I think You still start your SEO campaign with deciding the keywords. If you change your keywords to something totally different your niche may change and also your rankings for the old keywords will drop and eventually you will loose traffic. PR has not been updated since Feb and i don't think it will be updated until next year so don't worry about that, but you'll have to start your SEO campaign from scratch. Best luck! Hope this helps.
Not immediately but slowly you will see either rank increase or decrease depending on the changes you made.
Do not change. Like Vijay said, this is the basis of your website. Create time to build a campaign for your keywords. And if you have some other ideas, just open another website for that.
