    considering standard renewal price of $ 10/year (I think its around $ 15 for Godaddy?) , how and why would anyone be interested in giving you a domain of over 2 years for $ 20-30 ?

    it would be better if you consider the point and stretch your budget.

    You can purchase a domain name that is registered before 30 years for $15. You are new in this business so you can pay more.

    lol, does internet has an history of 30 years even ? i think Google is around 15 years old ? internet should not be too old i suppose ! even if it is, someone got to be nuts to sell you a 30 year old domain for $ 15.

    all i meant is that you should be realistic in your approach, anyways all the best to you with the purchase, hope you get what you are looking for !
