So if you are attacking a niche or industry with lots of competition its advantageous to have a site that already has some age and authority to it when trying to rank your keywords. When I say authority and age I would mean looking at back links, the actual age of the site according to way back machine, and indexed pages in Google. So if you want to get an aged site with authority . Here are some tips. First enter your main keyword into google then start searching the top 200 sites in google that are ranking for that term. Look for sites that meet the above criteria lots of age, indexed pages and backlinks. And make sure it has consistency according to the way back machine if you are using seo quake. The site does not have to look pretty in fact its better if it does not as you want to look for sites where the owner has lost interest in the site. next once you see sites that meet this criteria you want to contact the site owners through there contact us page if they have one or do a whois check to find contact information . contact them and offer the site owners some money to take the domain offer there hands. Depending on the site and niche you may have to pay a few hundred to a few thousand. But you want to look at this as a time saver and money saver as you will rank must faster for your terms with an aged site like this and save a lot of money you would have had to spend on backlinks then if you were to try and rank a brand new site in Google. Hope this was info helpful to everyone !
Nice, also. A way to find some of these domains is http://www.expireddomains.net I have bought from them a few times. 20/30 DA is the usual that I come across. So, it's a good start. Thanks OP!
I've had GREAT luck using PR Powershot. I find domains that are PR3 with 20/30+ domain authority and page authority all day long. Most have zero or 1 bids and I get them for under $20.
Yeh I use powershot to find domains at the lower end of the market. Register Compass is a good tool to find more authoritative domains. I wrote about it here - http://enormoney.com/seo/buying-high-pr-expired-domains/
No...... what you are suggesting is silly and stupid. Have you ever heard of Google? No? I thought so. Authority...... What authority dude? You're talking about sh*t you know nothing about. You talk about stuff that was valid 5 years ago. Or even 8. Everything is different today. Let me tell you like it is. THERE ARE NO AUTHORITY SITES TODAY. Backlinks mean nothing. SEO is SH*T. Total SH*T. Can you hear me?!!! None of that is working anymore in Google. NONE. So please be quiet. And NO I am not going to like your stupid post.
Ha ha are you serious? Backlinks mean nothing? SEO is SH*T? You clearly have no idea what you are talking about and no idea how to build quality backlinks to your sites. This is possibly the worse response to a forum thread I have ever read, and I've read some bad ones. Stop wasting your time & everyone else's posting nonsense, do some google searches and analyse the sites that are ranking top, then come back here and apologise when you discover it's due to their links.
You can to the buy sell section and then domains and buy a PR rank domain and then load a ton of content on it . Then you have to backlink it steady and then you will have a very good chance at catching them oppose to using a new domain. I do it all the time.
I treat anyone who says that backlink building is great as I treat anyone who says that bot traffic is great. You both are lying. If building backlinks was the answer to your traffic wouldn't you create SO many backlinks to your own site(s) that you'd be getting all the traffic in the world anytime you want? The thing is it ain't working. And that's why I don't like anyone who claims they can bring traffic through backlinks knowing fully well your stuff isn't working. And although Matt Cutts said that backlinks are still somewhat beneficial he made sure everyone understood that the whole link building thing is a dying thing. In my view it's already dead. Why would Google be counting on backlinks when 95% of them were posted through spammy posts? It's over man.
"And although Matt Cutts said that backlinks are still somewhat beneficial he made sure everyone understood that the whole link building thing is a dying thing" Think your first prblem lies there! Your spending to much time listening to Matt Cutts. Matt Cutts works for google, goggle's job is to make money, they make that money from adwords, not from educating you and me on how to rank a site in their algorithim. Spend your time building a site and getting some great links to it, you might actually make some money, instead of wasting your time posting nonsense and listening to Matt Cutts.
Your answers are degrading with each new post. It only shows one thing..... you don't believe a sh*t in what you're saying. Here's a picture for you....... I don't think you've heard of all Google algorithm upgrades that were out there. Go research them please. And to anyone who uses this guy's backlink building services. Don't. LOL.......!!!
Do a google.co.uk search for the keyword I targeted for the case study in my signature, think you will find the site is sitting at number 1! You waste your time finding pictures of animals, I'll spend mine ranking sites and making money!
You're a penguin. If you are king of backlinks as you are claiming you are why don't you bring all kinds of traffic to your own site and make millions of £ off it and live a very comfy life without trying to promote your crappy blog or selling your crappy ebook?....... that's really worth nothing...... You are smarter than Matt Cutts? You're pathetic. I never heard of you before but I saw your arrogance and so I thought I'd butt heads with you. Can you please stop promoting your nonsense? There was another guy here promoting nonsense and he got banned. Just sayin'.
Ha, this is getting silly now. 1) When did I say I was king of backlinks? I didn't. 2) Where am I selling anything? No ebook for sale. 3) When did I say I was smarter than Matt Cutts? I didn't. 4) I'm allowed to add a signature link aren't I? I wasn't promoting anything I was responding to the fact you said "And to anyone who uses this guy's backlink building services. Don't. LOL.......!!!" to which I responded with an example of a site that was sat at number 1, due to the backlinks I had built to it. Love to see some examples of your own - My initial response was to what you said here: I mean they are pretty bold statements, surely you have examples to share with everyone that what your saying is indeed correct? "There are no authority sites today" - Ha. "Backlinks mean nothing" Ha ha "SEO is sh*t". Total sh*t ha ha ha Your funny.
Ha ha ha ha.... ha......... ha............................... ha. The thing is I know you're a smart guy no question about that in my mind. My problem with you is why can't you answer me a simple (or profound depending how you look at it) question that I've been asking you for sometime now? It goes like this: If you believe that you can make someone successful by providing them with a great deal of quality backlinks why can't you do the same for yourself? Do you see the fallibility of your entire presumption? And.... only fools should fall for it. Is that who you are looking for? If not what is your excuse for not making millions for yourself first? BACK TO YOU: "There are no authority sites today" - WHAT ARE THEY? NAME ONE THAT ALLOWS BACKLINKS OR DOFOLLOW?. "Backlinks mean nothing" - WHAT ARE THEY? WHO DETERMINES WHICH BACKLINKS HAVE AUTHORITY? YOU? "SEO is sh*t". Total sh*t - IT IS SH*T BECAUSE NO ONE BUT YOU GIVES A SH*T TO IT ANYMORE.
Just do manual google searches like high PR domains for sale and you will find lots of great domain vendors. Check the domain's backlinks on Majesticseo as well as the backlinks Trust flow, Citation flow and number of referring domains/ips. All these matter to avoid being de-indexed. Then check if it has a fake page rank from plenty of free tools out there (type: "fake pagerank checker) and make sure the PageRank is real. Then type on google.com search yourdomain.com (whatever your domain is) to see the site is indexed. If it is not stay away. You can also have tools working for you like PRPowerShot and Register Compass. Good timesavers
