best way to learn designing through photoshop is to find graphic designing institute in your local city because you will be able to learn everything in detail and assistant will be there to help you always. Just my advice!
I disagree with comments like these, Photoshop can be used to create whatever you like. It's not all about the tools at the end of the day, it's down to the artist. I have made loads of marketing materials in Photoshop that have all been printed. I agree with checking YouTube, there's tons of stuff on there that should set you off on the right foot. If you get stuck though, send me a PM and I'll help where I can.
I agree Photoshop can definitely be used to design mostly any graphic related project. Any new tool can be difficult at first, but there are definitely a lot of tutorials online that can get you started. One of my favorite online tutorials but is not free is lynda.com
I think the best way to learn Photoshop is using it hands-on with just experimenting, although you should know shift dragging to resize will help your image stay shape. Pretty much everything you need to know is on the web. You have sites like pixel2life, psd.tutsplus, abduzeedo that can help you get a little more experience as well.
Photoshop is very easy and delicious ! It's my lovely software you can learn it by learning books, learning sites, learning videos and ... like this https://forums.digitalpoint.com/threads/a-photoshop-learning-article.2683474/ good luck
I had absolutely no idea that photoshop was edible. Do you recommend that I use mustard or mayonnaise with it?
You will have plenty of time to master Photoshop when you get fired. Just kidding. Any big success won't happen over night. You must work for it, learning day by day until you master it. Google for some tutorials, there are lot of them. In the time I was learning Photoshop there was no tutorials but I learned it. It took more time but I was convinced I can and I did it.
Photoshop is Not easy but the same time its not hard too, simply refer youtube videos Photoshop level by level
I think its really easy to learn Photoshop but creativity is your own skill. You can learn the basics from tutorials or from some teacher but the real creativity is your own skill.
If you have motivation, you can learn the basics pretty fast. If you have very strong motivation and talent, you can probably become a master in some time. However it's different for each person...
study showed that it takes 10 years to be good at it not master. Master is an overrated word. There is always room for improvement. But dont take my word for it. Im just somebody in this forum
watch the video lessons on the Internet and quickly learn, I just do not know how to draw but then learned the truth not a pro but still))
In your case you must know first the different tools in photoshop you can play with them to know what are their function. You can also search each function or try to follow tutorial instruction to enable on you to do your task. In cropping people's face or anything, you can use pen tool then try to adjust them to get the exact shape of the object you try to crop, then make a layer (you can find the layer at the right of working area) then paste it their you can also add some effect or variance to make it more beautiful. If you want to learn more I can teach you later.
In my opinion it's only hard to learn photoshop if you can't really be bothered! Anyone has the ability to be good using it , you just need perseverance, motivation and a positive attitude! Look for tutorials for the basics, but for leaflets and posters etc you should really be using indesign! You'll save yourself a lot of time if you learn how to use indesign before photoshop, l as later on once you become more confident you will need to use it to create print ready documents!
Simple and most advanced Photoshop things are easy to be learned. With some simple tutorials you can do almost everything. Now if you want to create HQ logos and other things it will take some more time!
